Taylor Momsen Blames Parents for Robbing Childhood

Taylor Momsen blames her parents for robbing her of a healthy childhood, insisting they are the reason she's so dark and miserable.

According to Starpulse, the 'Gossip Girl' actress and lead singer of The Pretty Reckless said, "Everyone's like, 'Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?' My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of two. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice."

Momsen, now 17, continued, "My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."

Momsen recently stirred up controversy for an interview she did with Revolver, in which she said, "If it's a good sex tape, I'll watch it ... I like some adult stars. I have a couple favorites. But I will say this: That Tommy Lee-Pamela Anderson video wasn't very good. I wouldn't f**k Tommy Lee."

i agree, Momser: you didn't have much of a choice at two, whether you wanted to perform or not--except you could've crapped your pants or thrown up on set--but now that you are somewhat of an adult and in more control, YOU CAN STAY HOME OR GET A JOB AS A CHECKOUT CLERK OR DO NOTHING for all we care. PLEASE!!! I worked with her dad and met her when she was doing her how the grinch stole christmas. She was a happy kid.
She became a freak-o after she started on Gossip Girl. Look at her pictures and how they have changed.
Get real. Yeah, not shedding tears. You are 17... quit and go do your Senior year in high school and go to college.

Taylor, I'm sorry your parents used you to enhance their life or thought they were doing something great for you, but, yesterday is gone,you can't change it, so quit blameing your parents for the life you are living, YOU CAN CHANGE THAT! Make a new life, that's what is so great about life. YOU can make something good with your life or keep wallowing around in a rut and never be happy. Remember, yesterday is gone,you have no promise of tomorrow, so make the best of each new day you have. Try going to church and learn about God. He is the one who gave you life and he knows what is best for you!

Oh.. and maybe tone down the black make-up and put on some clothes. Not wearing clothes as a 17 yr old definitely draws more attention to you and takes away from your 'childhood' & privacy.

I am so mad at what her parents did to her... First, they made her be a ford model at the age of 2.. Then, at the age of 7, she lands the Gossip girl role, and now, at the age of 11, she is having some issues... I think we need to lay off Ms Momsen, she is acting like any normal 11 yr old would act...I think every young teen goes through a rebellious phase, and joins a rock band, and smears makeup all over their face... I know I did!!

She's not 11, she's 17 and old enough to know she can live whatever life she wants to have. I've only heard negative things about her and how she behaves on the set.
