Taylor Momsen Blames Parents for Robbing Childhood

Taylor Momsen blames her parents for robbing her of a healthy childhood, insisting they are the reason she's so dark and miserable.

According to Starpulse, the 'Gossip Girl' actress and lead singer of The Pretty Reckless said, "Everyone's like, 'Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?' My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of two. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice."

Momsen, now 17, continued, "My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."

Momsen recently stirred up controversy for an interview she did with Revolver, in which she said, "If it's a good sex tape, I'll watch it ... I like some adult stars. I have a couple favorites. But I will say this: That Tommy Lee-Pamela Anderson video wasn't very good. I wouldn't f**k Tommy Lee."

You think your life was so hard?? Try looking around at people who have no parents, no food, no clean water, no roof over their head, no warm bed and get back to me you miserable mess of a person. The thing your parents did wrong was not showing you what you should be thankful for.

Poor girl. I can imagine how hard it would be to be working all the time as a child. You can change things now, stop dressing the way you do, go back to school. I know it might be hard, but at some point you have to stop blaming your parents. What they did was messed up, look at other child actors see how messed up they are. Change yourself, dear, you can do it.

puh-leaze. this girl signed with IMG models at the age of 14. if she wanted a childhood and friends and a "normal" life, she could have NOT signed with the modeling agency and gone to school.
SHE decided to audition for Gossip Girl and SHE is the one that decided that looking and dressing like a freak was what she wanted to do. SHE is the one on stage "singing" and flashing the crowd and talking about how her vibrator is her best friend.

get over yourself and shut up. go get a GED if you haven't graduated high school, take some college courses and get a real job. see what the real world is like and how far this self pity gets you.

All your claims which are lies and being on TV and in the movies is a job but you don't get it. You don't know Taylor so you shouldn't judge her.

Sounds as though Miss Taylor had caring parents. She has to find something/someone to blame on how she's choosing to live her "dark" life.
