LeAnn Rimes' Ex, Dean Sheremet, Makes Wedding Plans with New Fiancee

Dean Sheremet is the onetime backup dancer -- now a chef at New York hot spot Nobu 57 -- who married country singer LeAnn Rimes in 2002 and divorced her earlier this year, after news broke that his wife had fallen in love with married actor Eddie Cibrian during a 2008 TV movie shoot.

With months of sordid headlines behind him, Sheremet is officially moving on. The 29-year-old has just gotten engaged to his live-in girlfriend, fashion photographer Sarah Silver. The two are planning a summer wedding, according to Us.

Rimes' ex reportedly popped the question to his 28-year-old fiancee Friday morning, presenting her with a three-carat, antique 1950's ring.

"She is an amazing, talented woman," Sheremet told Us readers in July about his new love, a few weeks after his divorce was finalized. "We have a lot in common and we are both very happy."

And LeAnn Rimes, via Twitter, says she has nothing but happiness for them.

'Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah_silver on your engagement!' she tweeted on Saturday. 'A little birdie told me the happy news last night. Best Wishes for a life full of happiness.'

Rimes, 28, recently denied that she and the newly divorced Cibrian, who now live together, are engaged to wed.

Sue, that's great. I was little worried that nobody ever seems to go to bat for the cheaters in the world. My ex "needed time", and told me she was moving back in with her mother. Well, she actually moved in with her boyfriend two towns over. I'm glad kids weren't involved, and yes, I'm bitter towards cheaters.

I find it weird that he was supposedly so wounded over his ex-wife's emotional cheating while apparently he didn't even let the ink dry on his divorce papers, but I find it interesting that he announces it when he THOUGHT his ex-wife was engaged. What's the plan, try to hold the wedding on the same day just to be a thorn? His fiancee should know she nothing but a rebound.

Now instead of just divorcing, getting engaged quickly and remarrying, now Hollywood is having babies left and right, so when the marriages do break up, the poor kiddos do not know who to bond with. They did not usually get to know their daddy long enough to bond and boom, a new dad and stepmom are in the picture.

In that picture she looks asexual, dressed in that costume/wardrobe. His feminine side meets her masculine side in that photo, also. Marriage may somewhat redirect focus off his alleged homo' or bi-sexuality.

Allll these years LeAnne Rimes didn't know how to feel like a woman...cause her hubby was GAY! Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out...perhaps Sheremet is not even out to himself about it yet, and is still sailing down that river of Denial;) Or perhaps he is a tad bisexual. Regardless, I think Leanne felt sparks during the filming of that movie she did with Cibrian and realized, "WHOA, this is what it's supposed to feel like!" Just saying;)
