Travolta and Preston Gearing Up for 'Silent Birth'

While
John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston await the arrival of their new son Benjamin, one thing is already a known fact -- when the little boy does arrive, Scientology will play a major role. John flew back to the USA from Australia on Sunday to make preparations for their new arrival, which will include a controversial "silent" Scientology birth.
"The couple will follow the church's guidelines during delivery," a family insider tells me. "No music, no talking and no screaming will be allowed during the pains of labor. Also their new son cannot be prodded for medical tests or spoken to for the first seven days of his life. You don't want to do anything that will haunt them for the rest of their lives."
Preston told Redbook magazine a few years ago that she tried to follow the church's guidelines during the birth of daughter Ella Bleu, but after 13 long hours of labor, she told her husband, "Throw me in the car. I want an epidural!" However, due to traffic, there was not enough time to get Kelly to the hospital.
"This time around, Kelly is determined to follow her church's guidelines," an insider tells me. "Everyone who will be present at the birth has been given clear instructions to not make a sound."
For your sake, Kelly, I'm hoping Benjamin will be more eager to meet you and John than Ella was! (Full disclosure: I haven't been silent for 13 hours in my life!)

I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via age'lessmate.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends..
maybe because they want to follow what's in their heart? why criticize something someone wants to do? be happy for them don;t judge them
Yes!! WOMEN have the tools to end all this silly and oppressive crap that shrouds them in what is called "religion"....Scientology, Islam, Mormanism, whatever "controls" anything female. All they have to do us just say NO EFFIN WAY!!!
AMEN to that!!
And if you placed that bet, I hope you bet all the fortunes of this world LOL Of coure the men didn't give birth!
Yeah, Cutie, the liklihood is that the "men" who made up the rules never gave birth....what a stupid remark.
That's exactly what I was gonna say.
Scientology was obviously created by men that's why it is so stupid. Your not supposed to give medical care, shots or talk to the baby for seven days so that you won't do anything to "haunt" them for the rest of their lives? What kind of bulls**t is that? I would like to meet someone that remembers the first week of their life. It was rumored that their son Jett had autism, the church didn't recognize the condition but considered it a mental illness that could be treated with "spiritual healing" - (you can look this up on the internet). Scientology is a load of crap.
I agree, I had a spinal block and the relief was immediate and I thoroughly enjoyed the birth of my daughter and that was in 1964. I think Scientology is going backwards!
I totally agree..I think it's one of the the most ignorant things Ive ever heard of.
exactly what i was thinking! false religions are ALWAYS abusive to women!
These people are nuts. Kelley should attach electrodes to Travolte's testical and every time she has a pain she should push the button.
obviously, my thoughts exactly, and why are women stupid enough to go along with it????? what Bible are they using?
not say a word? are they nuts? i HAD drugs and it was a horrible experience of pain!
Scientology is a cult not a religion-what a bunch of wierdos-some people are so gullable and will fall for anything. How can anyone follow that, seriously.
I love this couple but that scientology crap isn't old. Some crazy person made this up. It's not some ancient religion.I'm very disappointed that people I like so much turned out to be followers of such a ridiculous cult. May god have mercy on them both for being so gullable.
Ohhhhh, I'd luvvvv to see men give birth to babies.....most (no not all for you out there who are big guys)can't even handle a cold without being on the couch for days moaning and groaning. They'd be screaming for pain meds just like most women. Hey John T., would like to see how you would handle the pain equivalent of childbirth.
As far as not even talking to a newborn for 7 days, POSITIVE sensory stimulation, including soothing, calming sound, ("cooing" in our terms, etc..:o) stimulates the development of the nervous system for these little ones, just like warm, tender touch, etc.
Cutie.....my thoughts exactly!!
I'm sorry but there is no way that I could be silent while giving birth, not to mention not speaking to my child for a week after birth! Any woman that wants to do this is crazy, and so is anyone who expects her to. I say the next time that he pisses her off, she should be allowed to nail him in the "junk" with the heaviest object she can wield, and tell him to keep silent!

I think he should try pulling his upper lip over the top of his head and then he would know about what it feels like to have a baby. But if she wishes to go along with this crap then I suppose she deserves what ever happens.
