Oksana Grigorieva to Larry King: I Didn't Think I'd Live Through the Night

In a 'Larry King Live' interview airing Wednesday evening, Oksana Grigorieva makes her first television appearance to discuss Mel Gibson and the scandal surrounding their relationship.

TMZ.com has a preview clip and in it, Grigorieva explains why she stayed with Gibson after the abuse and why she recorded his rants that fateful night.

King asks the singer, "Why did you stay with him?" Grigorieva replies, "That was a mistake. I stayed a little bit too long. But, again, I immediately left..."

She admits to forgiving and going back to him at one point: "I gave him the last chance. He asked me for the last chance. He begged. He cried. He cried on his knees. What am I supposed to do?"

When asked by the talk show host why she taped the phone calls with Gibson, Grigorieva says, "I started taping it around 11 o'clock because I thought, 'I'm actually not going to live through the night. I'm actually not going to live through the night and...'"

King presses on, asking if she wanted the world to hear that Gibson was threatening to kill her. But Grigorieva said she really just wanted evidence to give her mom in case she was killed. "I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead that this is who did it..." she says.

Her lawyer, Martin Garbus, joined Grigorieva at the interview. Watch the full episode on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 9 p.m. on CNN.

I don't believe a single word she is saying, all of a sudden he is abusive, when there has never been a report from his wife about abuse. She is nothing but a gold digger, and if she gets her own show, it only proves that hollywood is desperate, and does not believe in the truth. I think she should be deported back to her native country.
