Maksim Chmrekovskiy on Bristol Palin: 'Shame on Her'

In what might have been the most shocking elimination show of the season, Brandy and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were sent home on Tuesday night's 'Dancing With the Stars'--while Bristol Palin and her partner remained. And Chmerkovskiy isn't too happy about it.

In an interview with E! Online Wednesday, the dancer revealed his true feelings about Palin. "I felt really disappointed with Bristol. On Monday night, I found out that she went on record saying that I said something about her along the lines of, 'I don't like her because she's still here and she's not a good enough dancer.' Every time I've opened my mouth about Bristol, I've been nothing but supportive...

"For her to come out on Monday night and totally smear my name the way she did, that's just completely uncalled for, " Chmerkovskiy continued. "I have no idea where she got it from, but wherever she got it from, shame on her and shame on whoever told her that."

Chmerkovskiy also admits to thinking the voting system is a bit problematic. "I definitely think that the system is flawed. I think there are a lot of problems with it. I have a lot of friends in the Philadelphia area who couldn't call at all. People here, in front of me, picked up the phone, dialed one time and it said, 'Thank you for voting. You are over your limit....' I think it's just a flawed system."

Suffice it to say, he's not rooting for Palin. When asked if he thought she could win, he responded bluntly, "I really don't care."

So, who does he want to win? "I think at this point I'm rooting for Kyle [Massey] because this kid has come on with no fan base, with not a known name, not someone who is in incredible shape or had a phenomenal dance background... Kyle does have the same resilience as Bristol, same dance ability as Jennifer [Grey], but he's just that kid next door... I think he's amazing."

I agree.......Brandy and Maks from the beginning had colossal egos that said we will win......obnoxious. THey have poor attitudes. so do those who make this political.

There has to be a change in the voting structure if the voting is to be fair. Dancing with the stars is a nice show to watch if
you love dancing, but it is not a fair show if it is about the
best dancers.

I'd rather watch a DIVISION III COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME THEN WATCH SOMETHING SO IRRITABLE AS D.W.T.S, it's JUST NOT WORTH THE TV SCHEDULING TO HAVE A SHOW THAT NO ONE OF MY AGE GROUP [18-30] WATCHES ON AT A PEAK TIME WHERE THAT SPECIFIC AGE GROUP WATCHES THE MOST TV [FROM 9PM-12AM], PERSONALLY I'M A COLLEGE FOOTBALL FAN & I'M SURPRISED ENOUGH PEOPLE DON'T WATCH IT. IN MY OPINION, THE SOONER THEY GET RID OF THIS SHOW THE BETTER, IT'S JUST NOT WORTH THE TIMING & THE SPACE & [PERSONALLY THE AGRIVATION]

Three things. First, I am in your age group, and DWTS is my favorite show. And trust me, I have many friends who are also between the ages of 18-30, and they love the show, too.

Second, most college football games are played on the weekend, not on Monday/Tuesday nights.

Third, and quite possibly the most important, if you don't watch the show, why are you here?

The "PALINS" want to make me vomit! The Tea Party is a sham but with big mouth MAMA PALIN its working until people find out what a munipulator she is. Its all fixed to make Bristol win. Sarah cannot stand for her to lose. Bristol has NO personality. She is like a deer staring at the headlights.
I think Brandy & Maksim need to start a "Coffee Party" to show the Palin's in the end they cannot run for office and how Brandy is a lot stronger!

I totally agree !! Max and Brandy should start a " Coffee Party " . If Bristol Palin is a real " dancer " , then why was mommy there every week , puttin her mug in from of the cam. PLEASE !! They call her a "Teen Activist" , for who ??
IF you watched ALL of the other performer's as well as the judges , their JAWS were DROPPING !! WHAT ?? HOW ?? Bristol Palin needs to be back in Alaska with the WHALES , and pushin her " Mama's " new book and show !! Bristol Palin was an afterthought cause they couldn't find anyone else to fill the spot !!!!!

I was shocked and disappointed that Brandy did not get enough votes to be in the Finals. Her dancing was fantastic. Bristol Palin is not a good dancer and should have left long ago. All my votes will go to Kyle even though I think Jennifer Gray is the best dancer now that Brandy is gone, but I really can't stand the way she acts. Very phony!

No you all just think small minded, if you can't take it , don't dish it out to others. Bristol has been the one to improve the most every week. And she did it with grace andn't whine about everything every week as Jen an Brandy did. Just get over the Palin's or better yet join in with us ,because we are on our way to the Whitehouse in 2012 go Palins we are for Ya'll allthe way there.

Maybe people read the police report about Brandy's accident and could see that she was let off because he settled with the victums family

Do you feel better now? I would love to know who made you judge and jury. She has no control over who votes for her. I give her alot of credit for going out and dancing. Seeing that she is the one with the least amount of dancing skills than any of them. She has actually gotten better in time. Or did you not hear that from the judges. You know what they say about opions. We all have them and some of them stink.

Anytime you people lose, you whine about how unfair the voting is/was. Did you whine when Obama was elected? No of course not. He received the majority of the votes. He may not have been the most experienced, but he was the most popular. Just like any voting contest. All the talk about Sarah having all these people vote for Bristol, don't you think Brandy's mom also had people vote for her daughter? I think you are all just scared to see the voting power of the right!!!

yes debij, your right the judges should vote only that would be fair for the finals anyway! just too much confusion with the calling in, the lines are tied up somtimes and you can't get through! Bristol's a sweet girl and she did her best but I agree she should have never made it to the finals! i sure hope she doesn't win! I would like to see kyle get it but if not then jennifer not her, she simply no dancer, nothing personal!

The last show I watched was when Lil Kim was on the show. I felt then that the viewer voting is fixed. I agree with Maks that the viewer voting is flawed, but I wouldn't call it flawed but FIXED. Maybe, now that Maks has made known his feelings about the voting, an investigation will be started. I hope so, because if what he says about the recording callers are receiving about they're being over the limit, it certainly needs to be addressed because it's not fair to the really good dancers.
I won't speak on Brandy's being eliminated or Bristol's dancing because I don't watch the show. But the viewer voting system needs to be investigated.

Unfortunately I think the system is flawed as well, there is NO WAY that any phone or text system can keep up with millions and million of calls without screwing up something.
