'I'm With Coco' Artist Mike Mitchell Stays Busy With Pop ArtMike Mitchell skyrocketed to internet fame when he created an image that ignited a movement, now cataloged in the halls of the internet as 'I'm With Coco.'

In interviews with the New York Times, TMZ, and zillions of blogs (including a Q&A with PopEater), Mitchell headed toward a destiny of being forever known as the 'I'm With Coco' guy.

Then Rainn Wilson's new Twitter icon popped up -- a tricky little redux of the 'Social Network' ad campaign -- and we realized Mike Mitchell had stuck at his craft all along, fashioning modern interpretations of Captain Planet and Darkwing Duck and SpongeBob Squarepants drowning in the BP oil spill.

So we got him to share some art with us.

"This was done for the cult movie themed show at Gallery 1988," Mitchell tells us of that fancy image on the left, commissioned for a Kevin Smith-hosted event in LA.

After the jump, Mitchell shares a handful of his latest pop culture imagery, many of which are available in print form at his new online store, SirMitchell.com.
