Ryan Reynolds Named Sexiest Man Alive

Actor Ryan Reynolds has been named PEOPLE magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive." Reynolds nudged Johnny Depp aside to get the coveted title on Wednesday.

"My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke," Reynolds said. "When I stop training, I turn into a skin-colored whisper."

The funnyman and wife Scarlett Johansson appear to be Hollywood's most beautiful couple -- earlier this week, she was named GQ's "Babe of the Year."

"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better," Reynolds joked.

Reynolds is best known for his roles in comedy and romantic films like 'National Lampoon's Van Wilder' and 'The Proposal'. He also played Deadpool in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine,' and takes the lead in next summer's blockbuster adaptation of 'The Green Lantern.'

I think people FINALLY got it right this time...he is sexy and funny and I think his movies are good!!! I am sick of seeing the same people win year after year it is nice to see someone new as sexiest man alive, I don't think it matters who he is married to I think it is about him-he is very sexy!!!!

The question is....what has he done that we should know him? I dont know who this guy is either. I never heard about this guy till today, and didnt even know that Scarlett was even married. I am glad that some unknown got this award, but tell us something about him too.

Maybe if he shaved and hot a haircut as if he cared what he looks like. He looks like some disheveled derelict, but he does have possibilities. Unkempt is not sexy. Anyone seen Pasha on "So You Think You Can Dance"? Those are REAL dancers,not publicity hungry morons looking for their fifteen minutes of lost fame. DWTS is so mundane and it hurts me to watch it. I disagree with their decision but it could have been worse, at least it wasn't Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner, they're just hideous!! Since everyone is giving their vote, I say Jensen Ackles.
