Matt Damon is continuing his role as a philanthropist this season and has teamed up with Feeding America and the Ad Council for a new series of PSAs to raise awareness among adults about the growing problem of hunger. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service (USDA) reported earlier this week that more than 50 million Americans, including 17 million children, live in hunger. The PSAs, which feature Damon, Ben Affleck, Taye Diggs and Ana Ortiz, are designed to motivate Americans to get involved in the fight against hunger. Watch:

He wants ME to help? Matt, my unemployment will be cut off in a few weeks by thug Republicans and I can't even afford a turkey sandwich for Thanksgiving. Maybe all you rich celebs who get paid millions to stand around and pretend all day could throw a 10-pound turkey my way so we can eat next Thursday.

I agree, we can't afford to put food on the table this year and a millionaire is telling us to help...why doesn't he go into his filthy rich pocket and help us!!!
I agree. These Hollywood over paid people getting multi millions per pic or TV actors per episode pretty much sicken me by their stupid statements to help. Me myself will not go see any pictures & have not foe yeras. To me the are fullof you know what.
Their one pic could feed how many???????????

Leave us alone. Many of us are unemployed or will be in the near future. If all of the actors, actresses, recording artists & musicians & all other millionaires all over the world donated 2 million dollars each we could end world hunger. Think about that.
Screw Matt Damon the lefty bastard!!!!!!!!

I think it's about time that we start feeding the people in our country instead of shipping everything to other countries. If we used all this money that we give other countries right here in the USA we wouldn't have people starving right here or they could use the money to pay for their mortgages or rents. Stop sending my hard earned money to Haiti and everyone else and feed the families in NY, Kentucky, Oregon, Montana and the rest of the 50 states.

Funny, but before the election all were heard about was how obese Americans are, especially children. How is it that now everyone is hungry and we need to feed "the children"? You can't have it both ways. Oh I forgot, the Republicans are in charge of the House so it is time to pull out the starving children ads.

Matt I would be happy to help feed America. But I have to feed my own family first and that is hard these days.

You people are ALL missing the point here. The point is, Matt and friends are telling everyine to stop pouring aid into foreign countries and to start helping our own. Bravo Matt and Ben for turing the tables and stop trying to be the world's band-aid when so many of US need help.
