For the second time this month, MSNBC has cracked down on one of its hosts for improper political donations, today suspending 'Morning Joe' host and former GOP congressman Joe Scarborough for two days, according to Politico. In response, the TV show pundit submitted a regretful public apology."I recognize I have the responsibility to honor guidelines and conditions of my employment, and I regret that I failed to do so in this matter," Scarborough said. "I apologize to MSNBC and to anyone who has been negatively affected by my actions."
The news network finalized the suspension after Scarborough acknowledged making eight donations of $500 to anonymous friends and family running for state and local offices, which violates NBC's hard stance against employee donations. On Nov. 5, 'Countdown' host Keith Olbermann was suspended indefinitely for making political donations, but was then re-instated on Nov. 9 after the network took a firestorm of flack from the media.

I agree kevin what he earns in 6 months most people dont make in a life time. Im sure he donated to those who want tax breaks for the rich.
well paul, you're showing your ignorance again.
Why can't you executives implement a method and ceiling on contributions? Believe me, it is obivious the candidates or the positions the hosts have chosen to support.
Afterall, most Americans are looking for someone who loves America as much as we do.
No suspensions necessary for either party when reasonalbe rules outlined.

Not another one! These pundits should be able to donate to anyone they please. The line should be drawn if after they have donated, they campaign on their shows for that person. Now, that would be cause for suspension. It makes me cringe to think that the people you work for can dictate what you do with your money. Such piddly amounts too.

Who are they kidding,I mean they had to do it after the Oberman thing. I'm sure Joe is real broken up about 2 days. Morning Joe is best thing on MSNBC's whole line up, it goes down hill after that!
