As werewolf Jared in the 'Twilight' saga, 23-year-old Bronson Pelletier can count on a pack of support in a showdown. But faced with some real-life foes at a recent 'Twilight' convention in England, the young Canadian actor found himself in a very scary situation.Four men, who were allegedly drunk guests at a nearby wedding in the same venue, attacked Pelletier in the men's room of a Hilton hotel where he was a main attraction at 'Eternal Twilight 4,' a fan expo packed with teenage girls in Birmingham, about 120 miles from London (Peter Facinelli was the biggest 'Twilight' star originally booked to appear, but was ultimately a no-show).
Pelletier suffered a broken nose in the confrontation, during which the men reportedly struck and headbutted him until he was able to escape. Police chased the suspects, and witnesses say cops used a Taser to restrain one. All four were arrested on suspicion of assault; two have since been released and two were granted bail, pending further investigation. The motive for the attack has not been made public.
A source told the U.K.'s Daily Telegraph, according to WENN, "Bronson was really angry and upset. These guys were very nasty. They were so drunk, they probably didn't even realize they were picking on a Hollywood actor."

I'm sure with a good lawyers, these creeps will get off with limited time if any time in jail. That is the way it is nowadays. Bullies never seem to have to answer for their crimes. Too bad, because in jail they would meet other bullies and get what they deserve. "told a local news outlet about his efforts to buff up,"
Buff don't mean tough.

OMG! What cowards! I've seen Bronson. He's a slight, barely-there young man. I can't believe the bulliesganged up on him. They must be the biggest cowards to have to have 4 of them gang up on just one little guy.

he isn't just one little guy, he's the werewolf.
I want to clarify, as someone who was at the event, Bronson did NOT have his nose broken. He said that he felt threatened to the organisers and they, along with security, intervened. Although there was an injury to a member of staff, all the invited guests/actors remained safe and unharmed.
It is extremely detrimental to the future of such fan events when these incidents are falsely reported and blown out of proportion. Hundreds of fans risk losing out due to this site's inability to verify its facts.

Well done; thank you!
So what if he was an actor? Are you saying they perhaps wouldn't have beaten him up if they knew and would to on to pick on a "less fortunate soul"??? No one deserves to beaten up! I am so tired of everyone thinking celebrity makes you special.

It's not important if he was a 'Hollywood actor' or not, the point is that there are such thugs misbehaving in such a fashion in a Hilton hotel in Birmingham. The next time I'm in the UK, I'll know to avoid that city at all costs, and Hilton hotels! This could have been anyone. The city of Birmingham should prosecute those slugs to the fullest extent of the law. This kind of nonsense reflects badly on the entire city. If that is Birmingham hospitality, I want no part of it. Now, whenever I hear Birmingham mentioned, this incident will be all I can think of.

I wouldn't go anywhere in the UK for the reasons you cited. The rest of Europe consider Brits as drunken retards. European newspapers are often publishing incidents involving drunken Brits. You may want to consider vacationing elsewhere in Europe.
To ET Attendee: I see you've wasted no time putting a spin on this incident. Too late. The damage has been done. I sure this story will certainly be a consideration in planning any future events in Birmingham. It's unfortunate when a bunch of intoxicated Neanderthals have to spoil it for everyone else.
