Kat Von D's House Burns Down With Pet Cat Inside

Reality TV star and current Jesse James gal pal Kat Von D had a particularly bad weekend. The tattoo artist revealed Monday morning that her house burned down the previous night--with her beloved hairless cat inside, PEOPLE reports.

"My house burned down last night with my cat inside," she Tweeted along with a photo of her cat, Valentine. She also Tweeted a photo of the damage to her Los Angeles home.

"In order to gain everything, you must lose everything... R.I.P. My little Valentine," she concluded. Von D was in the middle of a tour promoting her new book, 'The Tattoo Chronicles,' when the tragedy struck. She plans to continue the tour: "No, I'm not canceling the rest of the book tour," she Tweeted today. "Rooftop n I are here in Vancouver. Thank you all for comforting words... Means so much. <3"

And the reality star isn't letting the disaster keep her down. "Btw. I am so looking forward to meeting all your smiling faces at these book signings! Remember, POSITIVE ENERGY FEEDS POSITIVE ENERGY."

No cause for the fire has been reported.

Me too poor Cat ! If it was a Beloved Pet of mine than Screw the Book Tour ! I would go Home and see if my Cat ( God Willling ) got out ? Maybe scared and tramatized ? Maybe not but I would definately at least look !

I feel sorry her cat as well. Such a pitiful way to die as a cat. I'm sure it was terrified and scared to death. I hate that. Poor, poor kitty had to die a painful death.
