Anthony List "Celebration of Life" breakfast at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. Amid growing speculation she will make a presidential bid in 2012, Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin said November 17, 2010 she could beat President Barack Obama to the White House. Palin told ABC News she was seriously considering running to secure the Republican presidential nomination. Now one of the most popular conservatives in America, Palin solidified her life in the spotlight by launching her own reality show on Sunday, featuring her family fishing, kayaking, bear-watching and relaxing in their tiny hometown of Wasilla. Steven Cowan, left, stands next to Public Defender Jonas Bednarek at his initial court appearance Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, in Madison, Wis. Cowan, of Vermont, Wis., blasted his television set with a shotgun after watching Bristol Palin's "Dancing with the Stars" routine Monday night, saying he was fed up with politics and Palin wasn't a very good dancer, according to court documents. Authorities said Cowan then pointed the gun at his wife who escaped and called police. A SWAT team surrounded the couple's Vermont farmhouse and officers were able to talk Cowan out Tuesday, after an all-night standoff. Cowan is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. If Obama can win with electoral votes (per region) instead of popular votes (people's votes), why can't Brstol win with popular votes (people voting), instead of electoral votes (judges voting)?????
gooooooooooooo BRISTOL!!! and SARAH!!
Such a shame Bristol's appereance on DWTS is causing a hostile environment.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THAT MOOSE CAN NOT DANCE!
With all the blogs and hateful remarks the family have encountered, I hope she wins too. Many say she got pregnant and was not married, well, the ones that degrade Bristol just never got caught.
What a world we live in, that a young mother, a young woman has to have security for her safety.
A threat on anyone is totally uncalled for! Though this girl should've been voted out weeks ago, she cannot dance, period!
@seeyalater ...umm...hey dummie, Obama did win the popular vote. Just wow at the stupidity.
I voted for Bristol even though I only watched last nights performance, because of the stupidity of some of these people. By the way, the ones causing the hostile environment are the negative idiots.
*Rediculous*, people are crazy....

That's an understatement!
I'm trying to understand why she needs added protection-- did she receive some threats? Why would anyone have something against her--she's performing in an amateur DANCE contest for heavens sake, and her political mother is not involved at all!
Threatening letter?
With all the hateful rhetoric about the Palins dished out by the liberal media I'm sure there's no lacking of suspects.
Meanwhile Mom and the Palin family are all delivering a refreshing series in Sarah Palin's Alaska. It's a good series made even better when you think about how liberals just cringe at the very thought of the Palins roaming around Alaska enjoying themselves. Liberals feed on misery rather than joy and happiness. Of course they deserve it all for inflicting Obama on the rest of America.
God bless Bristol. She's got my vote!

Palins Alaska is the worst show I have ever seen. The whole show is a sham. Hope she runs for President she will get her but wipped then maybe we won't have to hear or see her again
My vote too.
Did you notice that Lowest Rank score?
That's because You Are A Nut case to believe the hot air you're blowing. No one wants to kill this little girl because she's blobbing around the stage trying to win a materialistic item.
Go back into your mother's womb and start over because she must have cracked an ovary. I bet that one of the palin's supporters did this, it is what republicans do don't they?
We voted in President Obama because America didn't want that other nut in the White House then and we d@#% well don't want her there in 2012.
Really jebby1? All that hateful rhetoric is going toward the Palin family? Really? How about those profanity-laced, homophobic cyber-bullying dished out by members of the Palin family themselves about people who express disinterest in their pandering TV show?
That's not to mention the fake-folksy, bully tactics that Sarah Palin herself has been using since the day she crawled out of the Alaskan wilderness to leverage ill-gained dominion over the ignorant.
Just because the so-called "liberal media" as you call it, expresses opinion and speculation, based on information and instructions on ultra-conservative and tea-party websites, does not constitute hateful rhetoric.
The bottom line is, yes, she has improved drastically since week one, but she still SUCKS!! She should not have been on the show in the first place. She's not a star. She's some teenager that got herself knocked up in high school, whose mother just happens to be in the public eye. If a famous relative and bad decisions constitutes stardom and the validity to appear as such, I guess that means we should call up Billy Carter or Roger Clinton or one of the Bush twins for next year's show.
Wow, jebby--where did you get that nonsense? Please don't tell me Fox news!
Yes the show her showing her true self. Now we know how Bristol got knocked up cuz her mother allowed boys to go in her room. Now her younger sister soon will announce that she is also knocked up while MOm is downstairs and doesnt do a thing exccept put a stupid baby fence on the stairs. Sarah is a joke along with her "I follow the rule of Abstinence " daughter. Wake up people this woman is brainwashinga all you idiots.
Oh brother!!!!! Anything to give more attention to this girl. Maybe they should check to see if her mother's finger prints are on the envelope!!!!!!
