Eva Longoria Regrets Not Dumping Tony Parker the First Time He Cheated

Friends of Eva Longoria tell me everyone's favorite 'Desperate Housewife' is devastated about her split from Tony Parker, her husband of three years -- but her biggest regret is that she didn't leave him sooner.

"Once a cheater always a cheater," a friend of Eva's tells me. "Just five months into their marriage, reports of Tony's infidelity spread like wildfire, but Eva chose to listen to her heart and not her head. She stood by her man, believing deeply in the institution of marriage. She chose to believe her husband was innocent."

At the time, the NBA star was accused of having an affair with Alexandra Paressant, a French model, before rushing home to be with his wife on the set of a photo shoot.

Both vigorously denied the allegations at the time, but sources told me the damage had been done.

"You just don't get up and walk away from a marriage because of a few text messages," an insider tells me about the reports Eva filed for divorce after finding evidence Tony was cheating via e-mail and cell phone. "There is much, much more to this story than that. Don't think for one second Eva made this decision lightly. Stuff went down that she will never talk about. She is far too much of a lady to air her dirty laundry in public, but let's just say Tony knows exactly what he did to her and it wasn't the first time and wouldn't have been the last. Trust has been broken, as well as Eva's heart."

Which means Eva is no longer standing by her man but rather making a stand for herself. You go girl!

Eva Longoria is a mediocre talent with big dreams. She married Tony almost at the exact time her ex was getting married. She likes the glamour, the glitz and the spotlight. There is something about her that screams "opportunist". Don't worry, she'll land on her feet. She even wanted to "stage" the divorce announcement.

I thought I was the only one who saw that. She always talk about wanting to have children but let the show run things for her. How can they tell her she cannot get pregnant. Was it in the contract. She did want to get pregnant that bad and was it just sexting or did Tony physically have an affair.

You are so correct! This is one divorce that I'm glad is happening and I'm rooting for Tony. Eva is an opportunist and self-absorbed hag. I believe that she pressured him into getting married. Now, it has all blew up in her face.

His mother is Dutch, his parents having met in Amsterdam, while his father toured making a living on the hoop.

I'm not sure that all "Dutch" people look alike but there are bound to be some strong genetic traits for facial features and it appears that those traits appeared for van der Sloot and Parker are something of ebony and ivory twins separated at birth.

I think we know which one is the proverbial evil twin.
