Eva Longoria Regrets Not Dumping Tony Parker the First Time He Cheated

Friends of Eva Longoria tell me everyone's favorite 'Desperate Housewife' is devastated about her split from Tony Parker, her husband of three years -- but her biggest regret is that she didn't leave him sooner.

"Once a cheater always a cheater," a friend of Eva's tells me. "Just five months into their marriage, reports of Tony's infidelity spread like wildfire, but Eva chose to listen to her heart and not her head. She stood by her man, believing deeply in the institution of marriage. She chose to believe her husband was innocent."

At the time, the NBA star was accused of having an affair with Alexandra Paressant, a French model, before rushing home to be with his wife on the set of a photo shoot.

Both vigorously denied the allegations at the time, but sources told me the damage had been done.

"You just don't get up and walk away from a marriage because of a few text messages," an insider tells me about the reports Eva filed for divorce after finding evidence Tony was cheating via e-mail and cell phone. "There is much, much more to this story than that. Don't think for one second Eva made this decision lightly. Stuff went down that she will never talk about. She is far too much of a lady to air her dirty laundry in public, but let's just say Tony knows exactly what he did to her and it wasn't the first time and wouldn't have been the last. Trust has been broken, as well as Eva's heart."

Which means Eva is no longer standing by her man but rather making a stand for herself. You go girl!

First Tiger, then Favre, and NOW Tony Parker? I always pictured Parker as a gentlemen. These people deserve to be divorced if they treat their wives this way. Tiger and Tony are done. I think that Favre is gonna get divorced. Standing by your man for drug and alcohol addictions is one thing. Cheating isn't even nearly close.

well i think that it was eva that wanted the divorce cause she had told tony to wait but onces she was in LA rigth away she when to court and file but its like some of you say thats eva she likes all the spotligth and tony doesnt but it look fishy to me but like you said she was the want that want to get married so bad i rem that she was also married to a actor form G H and she was married to him for about 2 days and she file for divorce and no tony doesnt look nothing like joran van der sloot y ll are crazy but i am glad that they are going to get divorce cause we dont know the real story what every happen i love tony cause he plays with the san antonio spurs and i love my spurs 100%% go spurs go

also she is now saying that she regrets not leaveing sooner why did she what was holding she down she was planing to leave tony and divorce him like she did with she first husband

All I know is Eva is probably thinking, "why did I waste ALL THIS MONEY on a huge wedding!". Next time have a nice quaint wedding and save your extra money from the extravagances for divorce or a nice honeymoon. At least with the honeymoon you can remember a beautiful location for good memories. But Eva -- keep your head up and move on, you truly learn from your mistakes. And another word to the wise, when you notice something isn't quite right or your intuitions give you the funny feeling in your stomach, best believe follow that feeling because that will prove something is wrong before you SEE the proof!!!! And INTUITIONS NEVER LIE!!!!!!

I'm noticing that aside from actresses, singers are getting w/ NBA players just a lil' TOO QUICK!!! And these quickie engagements, like they only have months to live or somethin'! Ochocinco and Evelyn, Monica and her video man, Jessica n her man. All this is -- they are gettin' whipped on the sex thinking it's NEW LOVE when it's just a good smashing session, then when the sex gets normal and monotonous its no longer exciting so they start to seek fresh meat and thats when we hear them announce the engagement is off but still together, then you'll hear "Relationship Is Over". Let's see if the newly engaged couples last long enough to walk down the aisle?
