'No Babies Yet' for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson

Although Jessica Simpson wants to start a family, she doesn't have a baby on board ... yet.

"There are no babies yet," Simpson told Access Hollywood. "But I definitely see myself having a family with him, so that's exciting to think about."

Last week, OK! Magazine featured the pop star on its cover with the headline "Finally a Baby for Jess!" But the singer, who recently got engaged to Eric Johnson, wants to have the wedding first before getting pregnant.

And despite reports that she's rushing to the altar, Simpson says she's taking it slow. "We just really haven't talked much about it," she says.

"We've really just been happy being engaged, so I don't even know what kind of wedding I'll have. We [have] both been married before, so you never know what can happen."

Simpson met Johnson, a former NFL pro, in May. And their speedy courtship took a big step forward when he accompanied her to Italy to celebrate her 30th birthday in July. Last month -- shortly after Johnson's divorce from his wife of five years, Keri, was finalized -- Simpson gushed in the press about her new romance: "He's my dude! I love him."
