President Barack Obama may have a busy schedule, but he had enough free time to come up with a few challenges for 'MythBusters.' "I am a big fan of 'MythBusters.' I am, and so are the girls," he tells the hosts in a preview for the upcoming show. The commander-in-chief, who will appear on the Dec. 8 episode of the Discovery Channel hit, has challenged 'MythBusters' hosts Adam and Jamie to test the myth of Archimedes' solar ray. Does our President do anything else but appear with or on any TV show that will have him?

This is an old myth. The Mythbusters already tested the theory and found it difficult if not impossible to set sjips on fire with mirrors. So why is the president of the US getting into a re-run?
Just more of his showboating, since he has no clue what to do.
As for W and the economy. Check your facts. The eceonomy of great for 6 of the 8 years. The last two went south because Pelosi & Dems took charge of the House in 2006, and spent like mad men ... well, like Democrats.
DA, You really can't be that stupid, can you?

Da Truth, Like GW would even know who Archimedes was.

Try the myth that keynesian economics stimulate the economys. Never has, yet Obama waisted a trillion to disproof it anyway.

How about that tired old myth that Ronnie Reagan was actually awake through most of his two terms. Old enough to remember Reganomics? That was gifties to his rich friends in the (vain)hope that they would turn around and re-invest it, thereby stimulating the economy. Didn't happen. They all stashed the tax breaks in their pockets. The theory was called the "trickle down economy". What Ronny didn't mention was it all started with the sound of a zipper being pulled down. Anybody under the rich guy on top got "trickled down upon" all right.
Hello? Great Depression??? When Roosevelt listened to economic ignoramuses like you, we went back in the hole until the Japanese gave us no choice but to start govt spending -- and economy was more than back on track. Hope we never have to do it that way again though.
All the prez does is spend trillions of dollars, go on vacation, play basket ball with the stars and find ways of getting his mug on tv. Doesn't he realize the majority of people in this country now know his future is not one we can believe in? Two more years of this crap!!!!

The Prez and his girls like MB! Well, they sound like "ordinary peeps" to me...good for them. He appears on a family show...again, so what's wrong with that? This ISN'T political, people!

Oh yes it is - especially when he is on our dime - once again proving he likes to be in the spotlight and not working!
I see you're drinking the Kool-Aid like everyone else.
Really, what did you guys do with all your boatload of Bush money?

Hey, I had a great time with money under George Bush!! His years were some of my most lucrative years. Now my taxes are going to be almost half of what I earn. Can't wait to share it with all the lazies who won't work-not.
That's right you put everything on a credit card and maxed your whole life out.

NO - I worked hard for my money - saved and invested it like my father taught me and don't rely on the government for what I need. All of these liberals/progressives want us to be dependent on them so they can have the power. They want me to give my hard earned money to some slacker who doesn't want to work for it. I am charitable and give plenty to help out others, but I want that to be my choice, not Pelosi, Reid and Obama.
this guy does more crap than anyone I ever heard of.....Would someone remind him he is the President and there are things to take care of besides TV,vacations or campaining....

Perhaps he should take a more Republican stance like say, Sarah Palin, and quit halfway through his term
That would be the greatest thing ever for this country if he did quit....He did quit half way through his senate term....I can't find anyone who will fess up to being stupid enough to vote for Obama...But I know a lot of you did !!
This sounds like an interesting show. It could get a lot of children and adults interested in science and learning. Thank you Mr PRESIDENT OBAMA, for being able to see beyond war and politics and be a real person also. Too many past presidents have hidden behind their title forgetting that they represent real people and are part of the country, not just a title and ego. He has done an excellent job of balance, To much work and not enough play is not good. Everybody needs a bit of real life mixed in to be able to be successful at what they do and not suffer burn out. Keep up the good work Mr PRESIDENT OBAMA, there will always be haters, I am proud of how you represent even them when.
