Prince William's Wedding Date Set for Springtime
Prince William and
Kate Middleton have set a wedding date, according to the British Monarchy
Twitter. (Yes, the British monarchy has a Twitter.)
"Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton will be married on Friday 29th April 2011," read a tweet early Tuesday morning.
The account also made use of a
TwitPic (so savvy!) to announce Westminster Abbey as the locale for the nuptials.
PEOPLE notes Prince William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, was wed in the same spot in 1947. The magazine also hears through sources that William and Kate, both 28, enjoy the Abbey's "intimacy," despite the fact it seats 2,000 people.
The wedding will be a holiday in the UK.
PopEater's Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter heard yesterday the royal wedding could be the
most expensive celebrity ceremony of all time.
PopEater hit the street to gauge reactions on the royal engagement:

April is cold and rainy in London. Good luck, guys. Hope it doesn't rain on your parade.

Let these people have their time, my God, don't listen to it if you don't like it, you do have a choice!

Finally, some good news and something to look forward to. Prince William and the future Princess make a fetching couple. After getting to know each other for eight years, let's hope this marriage is for keeps. His mother would be quite pleased.

Wedding of the century in the making! Not to be overly pessimistic, it takes more than a hefty coffer, universal fame and to-die-for charisma to stay afloat for the long haul. I hope it won't end up like Prince Charles and Princess Diana nuptial fiasco. But, by all accounts, they've got what it takes to weather life's sanity-sapping vicissitudes. So here's wishing Prince William and Kate Middleton the very best!

This is obviously a hoax posting.
There is no February 29th in 2011.

Oops, misread the date.
I think its wonderful. I really think this marriage will work because they love each other as where I don't think that Prince Charles was in love with Diana. I also think that its great that William gave Kate his mother's ring. I think that shows how much love he had for his mother and that Kate is honored to have the most loved woman in the world's ring.
