It's official: Bill O'Reilly has deemed FOX News the most powerful media agency in the world. On Monday night's 'The O'Reilly Factor,' O'Reilly said, "Here at FOX we have emerged, and correct me if you think I'm wrong, but I think FOX News is the most powerful media agency in the world -- not just the country, but in the world."
Bill O'Reilly is easily the most watched and probably the most influential personality on FOX News; reading between the lines, one could infer O'Reilly's statement to mean he believes himself to be the most powerful media figure in the world. See the video after the jump.

"Powerful" for what purpose? Why does a "NEWS" agency need to be defined as powerful? From my prior experience those who seek power, seek control. Now if FOX NEWS is attempting control, then maybe they shouldn't be defined as "NEWS" to begin with.

Once again, Bill O'Reilly is Right!! Fox News is the leading news channel. It just drives the far-left loons crazy to even hear that. LOL. Fox is the best!

Brian you are correct. Absolute power corrupts. Why does a "media" need power? To control and sway popular opinion. It is not so much an outlet for news as it is an influence peddler.
Wake up people.

All other networks and newscasts are so biased, and left leaning, it makes FOX News seem right leaning when they really are not. The Columbia School of Broadcasting released a study in early 2009 about how network news shows and all news networks ranked. NBC and MSNBC were like 98% Democrat. CBS less than that, but still over 90% Democrat. CNN was mid 80% Democrat and some others were close to that.
FOX came in at 52% Democrat and 45% Republican and a few % they couldn’t tell. They really are fair. It’s just people are so accustomed to far-left media that has an agenda, they consider FOX right leaning when it is not. They employ more Democrats for on the air spots than Republicans by about 10%. It was the Columbia School of Broadcasting who did the story. Look it up yourselves. I’m too old to argue.

D is correct. Left wingers do not want facts or another opinion. The times and NBC enjoy their power. Information is power. I want my information as fair as possible.
Fox News is unbiased? Really? I actually watch Fox news frequently (despite being a Democrat), and every single day, they rip straight into Obama as soon as the segments begin. They proudly boast of their support for Republican candidates. I have no problem with them having a political agenda, but to say it's unbiased is a joke. All media has some degree of bias. It's up to us to find a fully developed view of the stories we're fed (which is why I don't simply confine myself to MSNBC).
Yes, in Bill's world, Faux News is the most powerful. Thank goodness most of us live in the real world, not Bill's world.

O'Reily is a turn coat Mic... We called them whee I came from a silver spoon irishman. I am sure he never worked a hard day in his life.

He is correct. He used the word "MEDIA", not "NEWS" and there's a major difference. He's removing Fox from the responsibility of being a legitimate news source and the word "media" allows them to be the Republican publicity agent/sales rep/infomercial they are. HUGE difference but for once, truthful and accurate.
