Gosselin Kids 'Doing Better' After Being Expelled

After two of Jon and Kate Gosselin's children were expelled from school earlier this month, sources tell RadarOnline that Collin and Alexis, both 6, are "doing a lot better." The two children are still being home schooled after being asked to leave a private school in Pennsylvania. "It seems like they are happier now that they are receiving more attention to meet their needs," the source added.

"They've fought with their peers, called them nasty names and made fun of other kids," a source close to the family told In Touch.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kate spoke out about her kids. "Two of my children are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum."

"The pressure was getting to them. You have the divorce anger mixed in with that ... The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible," she added.

But this isn't the first time one of the Gosselins have been disciplined at school -- one of the sextuplet girls was previously suspended for hitting a classmate, the New York Post reports.

Kate has previously stated that her divorce from Jon has caused the children stress, but overall the kids (twins Cara and Mady and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel) are handling the split as well as can be expected.

All eight children will spend Thanksgiving with Kate at the family's Pennsylvania estate. Jon and the kids will celebrate on a different day -- possibly the day after Thanksgiving.

I think this is all rediculous! For the people on here who are talking about how bad of a mother Kate is think about yourself, you know there has been a time where you messed up parenting too I'm not taking Kate's side because yes, she has messed up but it's not right for people to judge her. I've seen the show and the twins (the oldest) think they run the show and I've seen Kate get onto them about acting that way. And for her other 6 kids all i have to say is there are SIX of them!! Of course they're gonna be a handful! If you would watch the show you would see that she does try but things get out of hand and the kids run everywhere could she discipline them more? Yes, but then she would be in the news again for being too mean to her children. So you pick guys: a mom who tries to give her kids everything or a mom who is in the news alot for disciplining her kids??

I can only but imagine what it would be like to have every movement, reaction, action, privacy, fears, joys, doubts, sadness, happiness, exploited for the camera. These children are overworked, overstressed, shuffled here and shuffled there for the pleasure of T.V. audiences. How would you react?

It is very sad. If she didn't have to have a million dollar mansion and designer duds, she might actually be a parent. She is dying to be a TV star but for now pimps her children out so she doesn't have to work. She was likable in the beginning of Jon and Kate plus 8. Now she is just sad. And I've never ever known 6 year olds that were expelled. Wake up Kate, get your kids off tv and be a parent!

These kids acted up from DAY ONE. Couldn't stand watching the show because of the kids constant screaming and fighting, never mind Kate's tantrums! Divorce was only the latest excuse for a LIFETIME of poor parenting. And--"homeschooling"? Unless mommy Kate is sitting there with them, they are NOT being homeschooled--they are being TUTORED, as Kate herself said! Once again, cared for by strangers, even in their own home, at a time when they really need a parent to be there with them. UGH. There is no end to this tragedy. Octomom is almost a better parent than Katezilla! I homeschooled my older six, right through a divorce. We needed each other even more then! Guess Kate, once again, doesn't care one bit about her kids' needs. What a shock. Poor, poor kids.

Jon & Kate just need to grow up & start acting like parents for their kids sake!!! The kids are acting up because of the parents lack of parenting. They don't understand what its like to be normal kids & its very sad if you ask me.

Well, she blames her divorce on the kids behavior! What is she thinking? If she wasn't so despicable maybe her children wouldn't be having problems?

She should crawl back under the rock she came from and stay home and raise her children!

The lead photo in your article says volumes...she looks like a street walker who staggered in amongst those kids...she is the biggest pshchological mess out of the group. They are destined to follow the example...a pack of nutso kids, turning into nutso teens, turning into nutso adults.

I just read an article, now she says she pulled them out of school because the divorce was too much for them. She is in such denial, and wants pity. Both parents are losers, the whole family needs therapy, the sooner the better. These kids are going to be so screwed up and probably confused. Pity for the kids only.

I see Kate on TV more than anyone in the family. She is out for fame.I do not blame her husband for leaving her but I feel very sorry for the kid's. When they get up in the mornings, they do not know if Mom will be there or not. That to me is SICK.

I also think that Mom and Dad should keep there mouth shut and spend Thanksgiving with the kid's together. Let them know what the holiday is about.My X wife and I spent all holidays with the kid's when they were young just for the day. Never a fight. That was the rule.
