Mark Ruffalo is Osama Bin Laden. No, we're kidding, but Pennylvania's Office of Homeland Security apparently thinks he's dangerous. According SF Gate, the actor has been placed on Pennylvania's terror advisory list for organizing screenings of a documentary about the dangers of natural gas drilling, 'Gasland.'"[It's] pretty f***ing funny," Ruffalo allegedly told GQ in response to the news.
The screenings were allegedly arranged by star of 'The Kids Are All Right' earlier this year and allegedly voiced concerns about the practice polluting the nation's water supply.

He has led protests in California against the war (that's fine)but they ended up in violence. He should be on the list.

When someone like Mark Ruffalo ends up on a terror watch list, there's no reason in the world that you and I can't end up on such a list. Witch hunts are dangerous and stupid.
Are you insane? A man who leads PEACEFUL protests should be a TERRORIST watch list? Do you even know what the word terrorist means? It's someone who uses TERROR based war tactics to instigate fear in an enemy. If you ask me this whole situation is ridiculous.
Do the people at AOL not own an atlas, a dictionary? How about an editor. You spell Pittsburgh with an H. I know we are a small city but we are important. I guess you could have asked someone from your business or sports section.

What do you want? They can't spell Pennsylvania correct either. I live in the state too, and it isn't Pennylvania. How would you even pronounce that?
Of all the people to put on the terror watch list, why go after an environmental activist? A protest that leads to a fight is one thing, but it's not like he is placing bombs in public buildings or anything remotely resembling terrorism. This sounds like something Mayor Luke would think up!

You mean like Obama's friends? Just what kind of violence towards people is acceptable under the righteous?
#1 AOL staff always misspell basic words; it is as if they just hire young, goofy texting teens to run their offices instead of older, better real journalists.
#2 a person should not be on a terror list for leading a protest against the war just because some jerks in the protest became violent. Read your US Constitution – unless you directed them to be violent you are not liable whatsoever for the actions of others.

This can really be food for paranoia for conspiracy advocates and is very unfortunate that they will be able to now say that if we don't knuckle under to war profit and energy corporations and even state governments we are labeled radicals and terrorists. Think about it.
