You know your acting career has taken a turn for the worse when your name shows up on the credits of straight-to-DVD sequels to otherwise enjoyable, sometimes respectable films you also starred in.
Remember Tim Meadows as the scene-stealing Principal Duvall in 'Mean Girls'? He does! And apparently he liked the role so much, he's in the Lindsay Lohan-less sequel (also devoid of Rachel McAdams and co-star/writer of the original, Tina Fey).
There's a handful of big names who, like Meadows, just couldn't say no to poorly produced sequels that followed once proud movie franchises. Here are the most notable names who should've never signed up for "just one more."
Tim Meadows -- 'Mean Girls 2'
It wasn't the biggest role ever, but Tim Meadows was a hidden gem in 'Mean Girls.' Now, it just looks awkward when he's the biggest star in a sequel that never should have happened.
DJ Qualls -- 'Road Trip: Beer Pong'
Famously known as that geeky Kyle guy in 'Road Trip,' Qualls peaked as the chronic-masturbating dweeb who finds the guts to stand up to his berating father (and to dance like a madman to Run DMC). In 'Road Trip: Beer Pong,' Qualls takes another crack at glory as the converted awkward dude-turned-wise bro.
Eugene Levy -- 'American Pie Presents Band Camp' and countless other DVDquels
Another famous awkward character, Levy as Jim's dad in 'American Pie' didn't stop after the three cinema installments -- he also did three more movies 10 years after the original debuted. And was prominently billed every. single. time. Ouch.
Danny Trejo, 'From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money'and 'From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter'
Believe it or not, Trejo's career trudged through two disappointing 'Dusk Till Dawn' sequels and has arguably never been stronger after his Robert Rodriguez vehicle 'Machete' this past September.
Donald Pleasance, 'Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers'
No household name, Pleasance was nonetheless an irrevocable force in John Carpenter's classic 'Halloween' and its sequel. So what business did he have appearing in three more installments? The man starred in 'Halloween 6' the year he died, for Pete's sake.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

Some "stars" have bills to pay. Who can blame them. A job's a job.

Michael Gross, the only cast member in all 4 (yes, FOUR) Tremors films. Sadly missing from this list.

How about Starship Troopers and Highlander? Those shouldn't have gone past the first one.

I work at a rental store, trust me when i say there are way worse decisions from better known actors.

Was Tim Meadows (or the rest of these D-Listers) turning down something else? Doubtful.
