Gwen Stefani's Son Kingston Sports Techicolor Nail Polish to Go With His Mohawk

There's no doubt that four-year-olds love to experiment with colors. Look no further than the fingernails and toenails of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's son Kingston for the proof.

The pop star's oldest child was spotted this weekend with a bleached blond hair that was shaved on both sides. He rocked brightly-colored fingernails and toenails in a myriad of shades as he walked out of the nail salon in flip-flops so as not to disturb his freshly-painted toes.

Rocker-mom Stefani was also spotted at the salon getting a touch-up on her black nail polish before the duo met up with Kingston's little brother, Zuma, and Rossdale for a family outing to 'Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!' in Los Angeles.

Other celebrity parents who partied with 'Gabba' over the weekend in LA included Jessica Alba, Jack Black, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie.

Once at the show, Kingston, who is quickly turning into a child fashion icon, sported a black leather jacket to complement his skinny gray jeans and colorful slip-on sneakers.

I nanny for twin 5yr old boys and they love to have their nails painted, they also love to roll around in dirt and beat each other with their toys...at that age they see their mom or me or their year older sister doing it and they want to be a part of it and not feel left out, they dont know that its typically a "girls only" activity. Kids should be able to try a little bit of everything and if that means a little nail polish then so be it, I would draw the line at heels and dresses for boys but this is harmless!

I don't see what the big deal is, he's 4! There are actually a lot of rock/ emo 16 year old boys that wear nail polish. He's just a little rocker and his mom and dad are cool :)

But I'm not so sure about the pedicure.. that's a little odd..

This is extremely disturbing and sad. This child doesn't have a chance at a strait life. Stefani is bi, and her husband is gay. To bad.

Having a great time seeing all of the ignorance here.

So, Stefani is bi and Gavin is gay, yet they are together? That doesn't seem to click. . . I am pretty sure they are straight and there kids will grow up to be whatever orientation it is that there were biologically meant to.

So what? The kid's wearing nail polish. Big deal. Why are you so concerned about it. Does it some how threaten your manhood? I would suggest that you worry more about your own life instead of some celebrity's kid. Maybe she'll get him red and green polish for Christmas with Christmas tree decals for the nails.

I agree with those who have said that having his nails painted is absolutely harmless-both Gwen and Gavin have said that taking the kids to the nail salon is just a fun thing to do and another way for Gwen to spend time with her kids.And anyway,it truly is no one's business but Gwen and Gavin's what is appropriate for their children.
