Julianne and Ryan's Paris Holiday a Ring-less Affair

So your boyfriend invites you to travel thousands of miles to spend the holidays with him and his parents in Paris, and he doesn't propose. What's a girl to do?

This is exactly where Julianne Hough is after a romantic vacation with boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest and his family in France. Visiting restaurants, art galleries and shops, as well as a sold-out Monet exhibition, where the group drank fine wine, ogled fine art, bought new shoes but (sad face) didn't celebrate a new addition to the family.

"Julianna thought that this was going to be it," a friend of hers tells me. "Every girl wants to be engaged and where in the world is more romantic than Paris? She loves being welcomed with open arms into Ryan's extremely close and wonderful family and was so happy to be invited to spend Thanksgiving with them. But she thought these were all signs that this was going to be the trip to change her life forever and that just didn't happen."

I'm told that during the trip, mama's boy Ryan and Julianna have not been sharing a room. The couple DID find time for a quick kiss and cuddle when they slipped off alone without his family to catch impressionist painter Monet's exhibition at the Grand Palais. (Who's work I'm told Julianna thought was a little messy.)

Be patient love and remember you will always have Paris.

Aww...Mr. Shuter is disappointed because Ryan didn't propose to Julianne while they were in Paris. What a shame the world doesn't revolve around the poor little gossip columnist.

They haven't been dating long enough to get engaged. Why is it that the minute someone starts dating the gossip rags have to either have them engaged or pregnant?
When I was dating my husband my parents would not allow us to share a bed either, I never argued as I respected my parent's wishes. Some folks are old fashion, and nothing wrong with that.
