Carnie Wilson Fired From Diet Service for Eating Too Much Cheesecake?

Carnie Wilson was a spokesperson for a food delivery service called Fresh Diet until recently when the company let the singer-actress go because it became clear she gained weight while supposedly on the diet.

"Carnie Wilson was let go as spokesperson for The Fresh Diet after losing only 19 lbs. on the program -- and then gaining it all back (plus some) after she launched her own cheesecake company," snarky Fresh Diet spokesperson Ezzy Duchman told Star.

Duchman claims the Wilson Phillips star was two-timing them, namely "promoting her cheesecakes while she was supposed to be only eating our three meals and two snacks a day."

Carnie, who went from 300 to 150 lbs. in 1999 after gastric bypass surgery but is now back up to around 230 lbs, has long struggled with her weight. That said, her history of topsy-turvy dieting didn't stop Fresh Diet from dropping the hammer, harshly, on Carnie. They've already stripped her image from the corporate website.

"She didn't stick to it, and she didn't cut weight. We had to cut ties with her," Duchman said. "It seemed that she was eating more food than just our meals. We always saw her baking on her reality show. We believe she wasn't sticking to the plan and she wasn't losing weight. If you're baking cheesecake and selling it, then you can't promote a diet company."

This isn't Carnie's only problem lately. The poor dear is also suing the Game Show Network, the home of her reality show 'Carnie Wilson: Unstapled' before it was canceled in March for $277,500 in unpaid wages.

Yes, Carnie is pretty, talented and a wonderful person. HOWEVER..
SHE IS IN A BUSINESS..........that caters to people wanting to be thinner for the right reasons. OUR HEALTH.
She is also IN A BUSINESS...THEATRICAL....where overweight isnt ACTUALLY accepted. And she knows this. They heed her as someone who likes being famous-but-fat! She eats too much because she wont say no. SHE NEEDS TO FIND A NEW JOB for her life style.
Its ok to be unhealthy fat.......but NOT FOR TV/FILMS.....
stage is ok...they go by talent, not the size of your waist!
get over it Carnie......move on...

MY ERROR: PS.....the theatrical business is full of ladies who almost live on lettuce to be paper thin...size 0-8....but, thats something that we cant change. They want the fame and fortune and thats understandable..but Carnie knows, she needs to just be A HEALTHY WEIGHT..

another PS....HEED THIS PEOPLE. Anyone who wants to join Central Casting..for film work?...THEY CONSIDER ANYONE SIZE 0-12 NORMAL SIZE..AS THEY PUT IT...anything over a 12 is overweight.
Thats what it is. Unfair but thats tv.....
Carnie should just stay with singing and be as she wants to be.

Carnie Wilson is so MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL being herself & her true size,I myself go between sizes 8-10, But honestly I think she is more beautiful being a plus size.CARNIE BE YOU NOT who stupid people think you should be!!! WHY in America we cant accept each other for who we ARE???

That's kindof sad...On the upside, she's one of the few women who is absolutely gorgeous, despite her bigger size. :)

I'm sorry but I do not like Carnie Wilson. She's a whiny person that does not appreciate the people around her. I love the newlywed game and she ruined it. she was so nasty. When Dr. Oz tried to help her, she thought she was the only person in the world that had too much to do to stay on diet. Everyone has tried to help her and she does what Carnie wants. I don't care if she is fat or not that has nothing to do with why I do not like her. It's her attitude.
