Christina Aguilera Meets New Beau's Family

Things are moving fast for Christina Aguilera and her rumored new boyfriend, Matt Rutler.

The 'Burlesque' star spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Rutler -- whom she met on the set of the film -- and ended up meeting his family, PEOPLE reports.

"This is the first Thanksgiving she was without [son] Max. It was really hard for her and she was feeling sad, so she decided to go to the East Coast with Matt and a group of friends," a source explained.

"Since his family lives so close, they decided to drop in for a few hours," the source added, noting that Aguilera spent time with Rutler's mom, Kathleen.

But don't expect a huge commitment just yet. "They're still getting to know each other better," the insider said.

Aguilera filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman in September after nearly five years of marriage. The couple's son Max is two years old.

That movie was in production for awhile and it is already released and she's now "publicly" banging a set worker from it?

...hmmm, that seems sooo unlikely to have just started.

Her husband should be glad to be rid of her, before she brought him home some STD or gave birth to someone else's child. >.

thats vety untrue! jst cause she may be with someone else doesnt mean she is over him,they have been broken up a few months she wasn cheating. keep up to date before all of yous start judging and say things u shouldn say. think about what u's say and get ur facts right. She is sad because this is the first Thanksgiving without her son? He's not even been around for more than two Thanksgivings. This is so crazy: IMHO, if she wants to be with her child on Thanksgiving I think she & her husband should have worked harder on their relationship and not their careers. I can't imagine not being with my children on Thanksgiving when they were that young.

I believe so many people (especially wonderful mothers) are having a hard time with it because she does not know or doesn't really appear to care how this behavior is going to affect her child. She may think he is too young to know what's going on, but if she is so absent in his life now unnecessarily he is definitely going to hold that against her and there will be a time when he is not too young and all he has to do is Google his mother's name...Lo and behold, pictures and stories of his mother's affair. And yes, it is an affair as long as she is still married to his father. So that's why it is such a big deal.

It's amazing to me how people can just jump from a marriage to a boyfriend or girlfriend like that...and in the public eye so that the kids can get teased about it at school or by their friends. Parents do not realize how closely their children watch them. There is no way I'm going to bring a man into my house around my children, while I'm still married to their father. It sends the wrong message. But that is how the world has changed...people are so self-absorbed that they do not think of the ramifications and consequences. And they wonder why (years down the road) their children are giving them so many problems!

Ok , I think It is so ridiculous for how she is being judged.NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HER LIFE OR MARRIAGE WAS LIKE.It's pathetic how people think just because they see a few tabloid pictures or a few statements are released you know someone.. Her child is 2 years old, no one is going to pick on him and I am sure she surrounds him with loving people and wants the best for him and no marriage should stay together for the children. A destructive marriage makes destructive people including some children growing up in it. Leave her alone let her be happy , don't judge her unless you have never done anything in your life you were judged for.
