Run Eva, Run: John Mayer Wants Your Number

Eva Longoria's divorce hasn't even been finalized yet and the big bad wolves are already knocking at our favorite 'Desperate Housewife's' door. And although Eva finds herself at the top of the most eligible list again, the one person she doesn't need to let in is quintessential ladies man John Mayer.

"John is crazy about Eva," a friend of the crooner tells me. "There is something about newly-divorced ladies that drives him nuts. He was the same way over Jessica [Simpson] when she left Nick [Lachey], and now he has his eye on Eva."

Eva filed for divorce from NBA star Tony Parker on Nov. 17, citing "irreconcilable differences," about three years after their storybook wedding in a European castle. The marriage was rocked with infidelity rumors that claim Tony had been unfaithful to Eva.

The couple signed a prenuptial agreement the month before their wedding and updated it two years later.

"No way is Eva thinking of another man right now," a friend of the actress tells me. "Mayer can send all the flowers in the world and even show up under her window with his guitar and it would make no difference. Eva wants some alone time. She is still heartbroken about her marriage falling apart."

So, Mr. Mayer, you should start looking for your next press opportunity somewhere else. Are Bristol Palin or Kate Gosselin available these days?

John Mayer and Kanye West could be siamese twins joined at the brain. The sophmoric disrespect, unthinking, racist, and misogynist drival that shoots out of those pie-holes should make all women avoid any contact with these two pariahs for their remaining days on earth. They were put here to entertain and display their considerable talent, but at the end of the day, they do not learn from their mistakes, and should both remain alone, and be banned from speaking publicly .

The way they live off court has nothing to do with the fact that they are skilled and gifted athletes, that make millions for their cities, venues, teams and agents. Alot of money is made off these athletes, so they deserve their part of it. It does not justify anything, but you could not be thinking right, if you married a professional athlete who is on the road for 9 mths a year. The same goes for musicians 100x over. The majority of men in these situtations can not resist the temptation. Don't blame sports and basketball. Everything is choices.

i like his music, it's thoughtful snd sweet, absolutely nothng like his public behaviour. when i lived in atlanta years ago, i saw mayer in many small venues and he seemed nice and self deprecatiing, i think his fame went to his head. oh well, he's a young, single guy, if women are dumb enough to fall for him knowing he's a ladie's man, so be it. i heard jennifer love hewitt dumped him big time, so maybe he's burned.

Love Eva - she should stay alone for awhile - and concentrate on her career and restuarant business etc.. Mayer is nice but he will only play... I knew Tony was a cheater just got that look about him! If she were to date in the futre look for a guy outside the film, music or sport scene..

You knew Tony was a cheater the first time YOU saw him? Strange. First time I saw Tony he was barely 18 if that.

Eva snatched him up when he was 20 and only saw stars in HIS eyes. She led him around by the nose for years before he stupidly agreed to the wedding that was as big as Tom Cruise and Katie's. Tony HATED it. Eva didn't even invite the people Tony knew. He just wandered around because he didn't know anyone but a couple of people AT HIS OWN WEDDING.

Eva hasn't been to a Spurs game in over 2 years. Tony's divorce papers filed in TEXAS state she has not lived with him for over TWO YEARS.

Eva was a predator, and she isn't getting what she wants. NO SPOUSAL SUPPORT. Tony lives in Texas, not California. He always has since he was 18.
