Is Pink Planning to Name Her Child After Her Favorite Whiskey?

Pink has revealed that she will name her unborn child Jameson, after her favorite whiskey, if she and husband Carey Hart have a boy.

But the singer insists there's more than just her love of the drink that went into the idea. She told Access Hollywood, "My dad's name is James, and my brother's name is Jason."

"[Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey's middle name is Jason, [and] Jameson -- we like whiskey. That's a no brainer."

Unfortunately for Pink, Hart isn't quite sold on the idea of naming their first-born after a bottle of whiskey.

Pink says, "We're all over the place, I'm all about meaning, and Carey feels like he had a girl's hair cut and a girl's name, and he doesn't want kids to have a weird name. I have to get him on the boat for originality, so I'm working on him."

And while Pink isn't certain of the baby's sex, her doctor did accidentally hint that they might be having a girl.

As for whether the new mom-to-be will indulge in the doctor-approved occasional glass of wine later in her pregnancy, Pink said she was surprised at her current lack of interest in cocktails.

"You know what? I thought I'd be like that -- I couldn't even comprehend someone not wanting wine. But honestly, I just don't. I don't want anything bad."

Pink revealed her pregnancy this month on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' though rumors had been circulating for a while.

Pink, real name Alecia Moore, and Hart, a motocross racer, tied the knot in 2006, but separated two years later. In February, she confirmed to Oprah Winfrey that they were back together.
