Video: The Street Reacts to Oscar Hosts Franco and HathawayThe Academy shocked the world Monday by injecting some much-needed young blood into Oscar night by hiring upstart talents Anne Hathaway and James Franco to lead the 83rd show. In light of the surprise, PopEater needed to see what everyone on the street really thought about the selections. Turns out, a lot goes into picking a great host, including one's dance skills, their singing chops and even how much one can bench. Some were pleased, and others were outraged, but most people had mixed feelings and weren't fooled by the Academy's effort to attract a younger audience. Just for fun, however, we wanted to ask who they would pick to host out of anyone in the world. We got a wide variety of answers. Who would you tap to host?
