Report: Britney Spears Leaked Audio Casts Boyfriend Jason Trawick as Physically Abusive

Britney Spears Admits Being Abused in Leaked Audio

Star magazine's exclusive about Britney Spears being abused by boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick seemed a little dubious ... until RadarOnline.com posted a telephone conversation that seems to prove it.

The tape is conversation allegedly between Spears and her former husband of 55 hours, Jason Alexander. Asked about problems with "fiance" Trawick, a voice reported to be Spears replies, "That f***er is not my fiance."

The voice attributed to Alexander says, "I thought he proposed to you or something at the beach?" Spears answers, "Before or after he beat on me?"

Star magazine's editor-in-chief, Candace Trunzo, tells PopEater: "After all Britney's been through, it was shocking and very sad for Star to learn that her nightmare continues. I hope she finds the strength to get out of this disastrous relationship."

UPDATE: A second tape has been released, detailing why Spears didn't file a police report. More after the jump.

GossipCop has cast doubt on whether the call truly features Spears speaking. Though it sounds like the pop star, a representative denies the report. Moreover, GossipCop's Michael Lewittes tells PopEater, "I produced her interview with Matt Lauer for 'Dateline,' and it doesn't sound like her."

It's unclear when the conversation occurred or if Spears is still dating Trawick. In the call, Spears says she changed her phone number and was not talking to Trawick, but he was still working for her. "My dad does not want him around me right now. My dad has a shotgun and he's just waiting to use it."

A second tape, made available by RadarOnline Wednesday afternoon, reveals more of the alleged conversation between Spears and Alexander. "I didn't want the public knowing about it and I didn't want to file anything so everyone could find out," Britney says. "So I've just left him and changed my number."

In May, a Spears rep told PEOPLE the pair had "decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship." Britney's mother Lynne praised Trawick in November 2009, calling him "stable" and saying, "He's the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying."

Alexander's story paints a different picture of Spears' boyfriend of roughly a year and a half. "When Britney told me Jason had been hitting her, I was completely shocked," Alexander tells Star. "I couldn't believe this dirt bag would smack her around like that. Britney doesn't know what to do, or who to confide in. I'm really concerned for her."

Star's article, on newsstands Wednesday, also alleges Britney was pregnant with Trawick's child in early 2010. The Huffington Post notes Alexander has a history of making big allegations about Britney, a longtime friend. Alexander's allegations have included cocaine use and a story of he and Britney taking ecstasy the night before their Las Vegas wedding in 2004. "Alexander insists that he remains close with the pop star," HuffPo writes.

According to Star, however, Alexander took a polygraph and passed

"Alexander passed a polygraph test administered on Nov. 19 in which the examiner determined Alexander showed absolutely no signs of deception."

Really Rick, wishing someone the best at the same time as you insult them? You should meet my in-laws, you'd all get along famously! As to Britney, she is like any woman who has been in an abusive relationship, doesn't matter if you're famous or not there are guys who will beat a woman and unless you stand up and walk away, they're not going to stop at that. I feel for Britney because she probably thought she was getting away from all the bad publicity and now this, which, whatever she thinks, is NOT her fault. Kick the guy to the curb/kerb Britney, he's going down and he will take you with him if you don't ditch him. And believe me when I yell the following HE IS NEVER GOING TO CHANGE! He may promise and cry and say he didn't know what came over him etc, but give him a few weeks/months, you'll be laying on the floor again wondering what hit you and how you could have been so stupid. Take it from someone who knows!
