Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift's Turkey Day PDA

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have been a hot topic of conversation for over a month after the pair were first spotted together at a 'Saturday Night Live' taping in October, but the duo have remained mum on whether or not they're more than just friends.

The latest cover of Us Weekly, however, indicates that the two are most definitely an item, showing the pair holding hands over Thanksgiving weekend in Brooklyn, where they spent time with Gyllenhaal's sister, Maggie.

The actor, who stars in the recently released 'Love and Other Drugs' with 'Brokeback Mountain' co-star Anne Hathaway, is smitten with Swift, according to sources. A friend of the pair tells Us, "It's definitely serious."

Swift, whose previous romances with celebs have been well-documented in both the media and on her albums, is reportedly just as thrilled about the new relationship. While it's rumored that the couple are taking things slow, sources say that they've already taken a serious step by meeting each others' families.

"She loves his family and he loves hers," a friend tells Us.

It proves that intelligence and creativity are the biggest attraction of all. Why are so many men into Taylor? She's the best songwriter of her generation while being one of the nicest girls on the planet at the same time. Remarkable.

Enjoyed the laugh. 'the best songwriter of her generation'...really?? That surely doesn't say much since all her song are an interchangeable mish-mash of teenage love gone bad. And it's a given that she can't sing. So much for the creativity, on her part at least. As for intelligence, I doubt that either is all that much brighter than any of their peers.

Hahaha 'the best songwriter of her generation'??? She probably has the worst lyrics I have ever heard and desperately needs a real professional to writer her songs... "You be the prince and I'll be the Princess" hahaha what a joke... thanks for the laugh though

For the tween set only. She is no Elton John or Billy Joel. She writes songs fit for pre teens & they all sound the same. Her voice is mediocre at best.

This is a totally manufactured "relationship"....he has a new movie to promote and she has a new album to push. So they end up together "having coffee" or whatever and get their names and the names of their new productions in the media. Not buying it!

Actually, this relationship isn't helping his new movie much at all - if he was seen with his co-star it might have helped a bit, but people are a bit iffy about him being with someone so much younger - even though it is only 9 years. Clearly, he likes blonds, Taylor likes him - it's just like any relationship in or out of the public eye, it will develop how it develops. I say good luck to both of them, I hope if they are in love that they will be happy. Personally I prefer to wish good on people and try to see the good in life, makes for a much happier existance on this screwed up planet of ours!

She is 20 he is 30, that is about right. Most men are not fit to date until after 30-40. Still 20 is to young for a serious relationship, in my book..

**JUST MY OPINION** I find Taylor very fake and annoying. She is also kind of rude and condescending in some of her interviews. I am sick of her coy act and her "Oh my gosh, me, really?" reactions at award shows. Give it up. She's playing everyone like a fiddle. She aint that sweet. Those squinty eyes are hiding something dark... just wait and see. Give it a year or two when she "is all grown up and has a new image..."
