Anne Hathaway is lightening up -- her hair, that is!

In her recent film, 'Love & Other Drugs,' the 28-year-old actress sported sultry, brown curls which looked stunning against her deep expresso eyes and fair complexion -- and not to mention her naked body in the film's multiple nude scenes with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

But like her attire in that movie, Hathaway has ditched the curls and the dark hair color, too.

Worn sleek and straight in a bronde hue, we spotted Hathaway sporting a new look this week at the IFP's 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York. And while the auburn highlights around her face gave her a warm glow, we can't help but miss her chocolate brown strands. And those curls!
