Jon's Pals: 'Kate Will Never Take Responsibility'

After Kate Gosselin sat down with Meredith Vieira on NBC's 'Today' show on Wednesday and swore that her children were not expelled from school and that her ex-husband lied when he said he apologized to her for his past behavior, Jon's friends are fighting back, telling me people shouldn't believe a word Kate says.

"She's in even more denial than Dina Lohan," a friend of Jon's tells me, nodding to Dina's similar visit to 'Today' last month. "Kate takes shots at Jon on national TV but will never take any personal responsibility for the mess this family is in. It's like everything that went wrong was all Jon's fault and had nothing to do with her."

During the 'Today' interview, Kate disputed Jon's tweet last month that he has "apologized to Kate" for messing up in the past.

"I have never personally been apologized to," Kate said. "I don't personally consider an interview on TV or a tabloid as an apology, unfortunately. But I have strangely and ironically forgiven him for the sake of my kids."

One TV insider I spoke to believes Kate is being a tad hypocritical when she claims her children's problems are a private matter, while at the same time promoting a TV show centered on the children.

"She wants it both ways. It's time she stopped blaming others, including Jon, and started looking in the mirror," my source says. "It's heartbreaking."

What do you think: would Kate be better off spending more time at home rather than rushing to NYC to do press interviews?

This woman is the biggest hypocrite i have ever seen. My kids behavior issues are a private matter, but then shove them in front of the cameras for everything else. She can't have it both ways. She chose this life now she must reap what she has sown. I do believe she is in deep deep denial concerning her children's issues, but as usual Kate will never take responsibility for her part in this madness. TLC would do those children and the world a favor by pulling this show off the air ASAP.

You know its funny reading what you all have to say about this. I agree that Jon went the wrong route in the way he ended his marriage but in truth wouldn't you have done the same thing if you had a wife like he did. I remember feeling sad for him in the way Kate treated him like one of her children always yelling at him or belittling him all the time! Plus in the beginning SHE was the one who talked about divorce.

It is very sad but she has not taken any responsibility from what is seen from her own interveiws. She is in denial and I think many people watched Jon mess up and because of that supported Kate by default. Jon's mess up was clear and obvious and happens--she hides hers mistakes and manipulates what people see--so, to the outside, Jon absolutely looks like a screw up--but she bobs and weaves and never really goes deep about her own mess ups-which the whole world remembers from the show--she was OCD, overbearing, negative and thought very highly of herself. The kids will be unhealthy if she doesn't deal with reality and not just the appearance of reality or the reality she paints.

When I watched the show and the children were 2 and 3 years old. Alexis and Colin were very agressive, defiant and hit the other children, wonder where they got that from. I had to stop watching because of the way that Kate talked to Jon. She is an angry, bitter woman and when she says "we" who is she talking about. Her children are all in school, why can't she get a job and realize that she is not a star and has no talent. BTW, why does she need a bodyguard, people that are real stars walk around all the time.

Personally, I have issues with a woman who continues to exploit her life and children on a tv show like this. Get a grip, Kate; your 15 minutes of fame are WAY over! The eight kids you chose to have need you much more than press interviews and appearances on tv. BTW, did you HAVE eight children in order to gain some sort of fame from it? Just askin' ...

i agree she wants this and that but not the results of the problem if she had any brains she would live a quiet ,normal life with those babies .And stay off tv shows !

She's been doing the same interview, just different versions of, since the truth about her scripted 'normal', 'loving' family life with Jon was exposed for what it was. I thought she would have taken a note from Elin's and Sandy B's page but I guess this (talking publicy about her ex and family) is always her fallback for attention. She's heading to be the next Dina Lohan...that is NOT something to be proud of. She has one card to play and she keeps playing it. Move on already. BTW she CHOSE a public life and continues to pursue fame. Most seasonsed, successful celebs get that public scrutiny is part of the game. Period.

jon and his pals are morons kate didn't start it he did ,he needs to be locked up!and as for the kids ,i don't see him doing anything they don't even wan't to visit with him let alone live with him!

Here is a woman, that has totally abused her x bad mouthing him at every corner with her "boy bodyguard" and prancing around on tv with kids with severe problems exploiting them for money. Why does TLC keep Kate on the air get her off forever .She is madly in love with herself and does not belong on tv she is a nobody . Kate get back to the real world and start taking care of your children yourself . She claims she is doing all this for her children that is so far from the truth. I feel bad for the children because they are her fame to fortune she uses them .Get her off the air be done with her .

I used to watch that show in the beginning and all I got out of it, that she was the agressor in that relationship. She is not a mother to me, but for her its all about being on TV. Nobody told her to have that many children, she was the one who wanted them. I always thought, that he was the one giving those kids more understanding and he was always there to help her, at the beginning he had to learn, but as long as he was with her, he was great. Even suffering from mental abuse from her, just sitting there with her and her running her mouth. So do not blame Jon for all this, because she started with the affair with her bodyguard first, not Jon. He found out and did it also.

OMG, Jon's pals are sticking up for him and his horrible behavior now thats a surprise! I maynot be the biggest fan of Kate's but she has 8 children to rasie. Jon has done nothing but use his children as pawns to con TLC out of 70K per show for simply being a sperm donor, and not being on the show, he used his children to get a paycheck, what a loser! This guy doesn't even pay child support, yet here we go again, Jon using another chance to get back at Kate for simply being a parent and a grownup while Jon has done nothing but act like an over grown teenager ran around with every skank out there, while Kate has taken all the heat for simply trying to give those 8 children a better life and doing what it takes to make a living in this economy. Kate gets bashed for doing something I believe if any of us was given the chance to do what she is doing would do while NOTHING GETS SAID about that LOW LIFE HO CHASING JON! PATHETIC!

Kate is an opportunist! She castrated Jon from the very beginning. I knew the demise of their marriage was inevitable as I watched her rag on her husband time after time after time. She was very disrespectful as far too many men and women are today. She twisted her words in response to her kids being "expelled". At the end of the day, the two kids with ANGER problems are being home-schooled. Liar, liar, pants on fire. Sounds like typical, horrible, stiff dancing Kate!!! Wish she and her show would simply go away!!!
