Jon's Pals: 'Kate Will Never Take Responsibility'

After Kate Gosselin sat down with Meredith Vieira on NBC's 'Today' show on Wednesday and swore that her children were not expelled from school and that her ex-husband lied when he said he apologized to her for his past behavior, Jon's friends are fighting back, telling me people shouldn't believe a word Kate says.

"She's in even more denial than Dina Lohan," a friend of Jon's tells me, nodding to Dina's similar visit to 'Today' last month. "Kate takes shots at Jon on national TV but will never take any personal responsibility for the mess this family is in. It's like everything that went wrong was all Jon's fault and had nothing to do with her."

During the 'Today' interview, Kate disputed Jon's tweet last month that he has "apologized to Kate" for messing up in the past.

"I have never personally been apologized to," Kate said. "I don't personally consider an interview on TV or a tabloid as an apology, unfortunately. But I have strangely and ironically forgiven him for the sake of my kids."

One TV insider I spoke to believes Kate is being a tad hypocritical when she claims her children's problems are a private matter, while at the same time promoting a TV show centered on the children.

"She wants it both ways. It's time she stopped blaming others, including Jon, and started looking in the mirror," my source says. "It's heartbreaking."

What do you think: would Kate be better off spending more time at home rather than rushing to NYC to do press interviews?

Jon was a jerk. No doubt about it. However, he has apologized to everyone (I believe Kate was givin a dozen roses, which she refused to accept), cleaned up his act, and gotten out of the limelight, and refocused on his kids.

Kate was a jerk, and hasn't moved from there.

I believe both kate and job need to go back to working instead of living off your kids. Nobody told u to have a tribe of kids, u chose to do so. These idiots are more concerned with the amount of money they are getting, than on the welfare of their children. Despictable.

I was not impressed with this whole TV scenario from the beginning. What kind of people have that many kids, exploit them, and expect everything to last forever....duh. Kate is a b**ch and treated John like a dog on national TV. What did she treat him like when the cameras weren't on???? I don't think either of them are responsible enough to raise pets let alone children. Kate is in her own messed up world of "Look at Me" at the expense of having others take care of her children. They can both rot! Take the kids away from them before they end up screwed up as bad as the parents.

Why does all these talk shows continue to give Kate a place to whine? Same story with a different twist. Poor Kate has been lied about again. Just get over it Kate. Your brought it on yourself. I don't see real celebs on TV explaining every moment of thier lifes. Dina Lohan is not a celeb.

Try this idea; They both have problems big time that hurt their children big time.
They both do not have any special talent , except many children who they have NO idea how to raise appropriately.
they both are self absorbed.
They both are not worth my time watching on TV.
But I had to put in my 2 cents here. LOL until you cry for the children who will be on Dr Drews Rehab!!

it's all about the money and it's all about her...the kids are just the vehicle through which she gets huge tv money. she showed her true colors on dancing with the stars.

The truth is both of them are a mess and the media is exploiting it and as long as the ratings are high they won't worry too much about how it effects the kids. I hope he cleans up his act. I hope she will quit using the media to blame him. Most importantly I hope these children don't grow up hating and resenting both of them and living a lifetime of loneliness because of it!

Are you kidding me? She was on national tv and said her marriage ended in part due to how bad she treated Jon. He's a baby in a man's body and make me sick! I didn't like Kate very much when I saw her at first. But has won me over in the last few years. It seems she is trying very hard to take the high road and Jon is taking the low road for sure. Whoever Jon's friend or friends are, they need a reality check and give credit where credit is due, especially after the way Jon treated Kate when he chose to leave the marriage and it seems now his children. He's such a putz!

Whole family is a train wreck because of 2 immature, self-absorbed, greedy, publicity freaks. Having a family is NOT about the parents. It's about the kids. It's about raising decent, law-abiding, hard-working, well-adjusted individuals who can cope with the garbage life throws at them. In this case, we will see adult kids that bear many of the unlikeable traits of Jon & Kate. Train-wreck adults raise train-wreck children. Just what society needs - more people that are a burden and unable to cope. Great !

OMG...........WHO CARES???? I just saw the headline... didn't even bother reading the stupid story behind it. Can we just move on from this idiot? Who gives a darn about who has apologized to who? This woman is a total child-exploiting flake. If we ignore her, we can only hope she'll go away and start giving her kids the normal life they deserve.

Are these two idiots still alive. If you all would stop watching them, they will go away. If you really care about these idiots, you need to get a real life! All the garbage on TV like Kardashians, Jersey Snore, Jon & Kate, etc. are a direct reflection of the condition of our country...and it's so sad. Just like the Roman Empire, we have the 3 symptoms of an impending fall. And California is leading the way for us all!

This woman is toxic. She is a publicity hound, and although I
agree her ex was an idiot and a child, SHE was a bully and
mean as spit. She exploits her kids, gets plenty out of it, new
clothes, new image, etc. Her kids will be damaged for life, and
she is as much to blame as Jon. I kinda feel sorry for the kids.

I saw Jon and Kate Plus 8 two times. I had to turn it off because the two older girls did nothing but whine and throw tantrums, the little ones weren't allowed to "mess up the house" and Kate did nothing but emasculate Jon. Why would anyone want to watch this family in real-life, let alone on TV? Now that they are divorced it's even more of a train wreck. Please, I beg you TV land - move on already!!
