Slain Publicist Ronni Chasen Worth Over Six Million Dollars

Two weeks after Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen was
shot and killed while driving home from a movie premiere, her last will and testament have been leaked.
E!Online.com obtained a copy and the documents reveal Chasen was a wealthy and charitable woman--with one exception. One niece was left just $10.
According to the documents, signed and dated June 10, 1994, Chasen was worth $6.1 million. She left three-quarters of her estate to her mother, Carolyn Cohen, but she has passed away since the will was executed. The money will instead be distributed between one of her nieces, Melissa Cohen, and her brother, Lawrence Cohen.
In addition to other cash gifts to friends and family members, she also bestowed paintings to several people including publicist Warren Cowen and jeweler-to-the-stars Martin Katz. The publicist also left her Playbill collection to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science.
Interestingly, she left another niece, Jill Gatsby (aka Cohen) only $10. "I have intentionally and with full knowledge of the consequences omitted to provide for my niece, Jill Cohen, also known as Jill Gatsby, except for the gift of $10," the will stated.
Chasen also left big chunks of money to several different charities. Here's a quick look at which charities received donations:
- Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall ($20,000)
- Woman's Cancer Research Foundation ($5,000)
- Make-a-Wish Foundation International ($10,000)
- American Film Institute ($5,000) - Simon Wiesenthal Center ($5,000)
- Gilda Radner Cancer Program ($2,500)
In accompanying papers, an updated 2006 will is referenced but it has yet to be located.

Ouch, Bet Jill's wishing she had whispered.
I do hope they solve this case. I still believe she didn't deserve to be slain.

DESERVE TO BE SLAIN? So glad you believe she didn't "deserve to be slain". Duhhhh.
Oh, go snort some more coke, honey. Did you know her personally?
Are they putting her on eBay?

Ugly, vicious violent acts of late have been carried out by close and personal people known to the victims. I'm thinking someone might want to chat with the niece who was bequeated the ten lousy bucks.

omg!! This woman was worth 6.1 million, her charities are so small and to leave someone ten dollars with that much money is such an insult, why not just leave her out of the will.Geez!!! Do you think that she was sorta greedy? I do.. But, all in all she didnt deserve this..
