Call Me, Seriously: Insider Says Hasselbeck 'Feels Used' By Palin

Back in 2008, when the 'The View's' resident conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck introduced then-VP nominee Sarah Palin at Florida political rallies, the daytime host thought it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. But alas, two years later, poor Elisabeth is left feeling used and confused now that the 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' star no longer returns her calls.

"I am more than honored to be there," Elisabeth said of being asked to introduce Palin at campaign rallies in Florida. "So, that's an honor and I'm excited to do it and I'll have some stories, I'm sure, on Monday."

Well, it turns out those "stories" didn't last very long, because after the election was over, Sarah no longer needed the 'View' star's support, so she simply moved on.

"Elisabeth feels used by the former governor," an insider with knowledge of the situation tells me. "She stood up and did everything she could to help get Sarah into the White House, expecting to have made a friend for life. Elisabeth isn't fake. You might not like her politics, but she is a very genuine person. If she likes someone, she will do whatever she can to help them."

That genuine desire to help her friend inspired Elisabeth to take a break from her home and family and hit the campaign trail, something she didn't mind one bit.

"What she does mind is the fact that now this friend no longer needs her, she doesn't even return her calls!" my source says.

Don't feel so dumped, Elisabeth -- I'm not so sure Sarah is returning her old running mate's calls either!

Maybe you should do a better job picking your friends Elizabeth, and that's because you're not a very good judge of character!! I hate watching that show because of you.....you're always talking over top of everyone else...very, very rude!

To Halfmoon...you say know nothing about Palin's true colors (even though she has shown us enough of herself by her actions, opinions, and writings for me to have reached this conclusion). Then, even though it's safe for me to say you know far less about me than I know about Palin, you go on to say I want to kill babies and have multiple sex partners. You should change your name from Halfmoon to Halfwit.

I'm not a Palin supporter, but I'm not sure she did anything wrong. People in politics always use well-known "celebrities" to help them campaign. If Elisabeth really thought that she was going to be FRIENDS with Palin, then that just shows her naivete.

I agree with you about the Sarah did anything wrong part.
Elizabeth, needs to growup, and report to Barbara Walters on the
"View", where she doesn't have a chance to say but a few word.
That's were she looks best.
What did you what; from a woman (Sarah Palin) that wanted to be a millionare?

What's funny to me, is watching anyone reply on what seems to be a very manipulative "insider scoop"...what if the writer is just creating the "gossip" chaos...we'll never know, but it sure is entertaining reading some of these posts. FACTS...show me the facts...who said what...EXACTLY...otherwise, everything is just GOSSIP.

True to form, Sarah Palin is a user and an abuser. She uses everyone that gets in her way, even her children. She also abuses them by never being around, always on a search for more money and recognition. But, what gets me, is why is anyone surprised. This is what she does, and who she is. When is someone going to expose sarah palin for what she is, and shut her down. Personally, I feel that if she keeps on bashing Barbara Bush, she will get put in her place. LOL and conservatives and the rest of the world has been watching the democrats destroying not only the party, but the country. A LOT of damage is currently being done in Washington.

As for the person that stated that Palin isn't qualified for President, look at what is in office now. Obama has managed to screw up everything he's touched...he can't even answer simple questions without spinning for 10 minutes. He's a freaking joke.
