Johnny Weir Endorses Other 'Housewife' to Do 'Skating With the Stars'

How does 'Skating With the Stars' center judge Johnny Weir describe his persona on the show? "Like Simon Cowell with a little bit of Paula Abdul underneath," he tells me on my HDNet show 'Naughty But Nice With Rob,' adding he's "gonna be sweet, but ... it's ice skating."

With that mix of naughty and nice in mind, one contestant on the ABC show, Bethenny Frankel, may have to try extra hard because I learned that his loyalty actually lies with her 'Housewives' nemesis Jill Zarin. "I'm friends with Jill," Johnny told me. "I see Jill all the time and adore her."

The Olympic skate sensation even dished on Jill's fears of doing a show like 'Skating' because of fitness concerns. "She was like, 'you know Johnny I can't skate until I'm in shape' and I was like Jill, you're like five pounds, you can skate whenever you want."

I love Johnny Weir, he's adorable. Why did Rob go on about how mean Bethenny is and that he didn't like her if he was only going to turn around and slam Johnny for just admitting that he is friends with Jill? That's all he really said. I didn't hear him badmouth Bethenny at all. Maybe Rob isn't familiar with Johnny but he's known for being honest and speaking his mind. He's not the kind of person who will pretend to be something or deny he's friends with somebody just to appease people.

Anyway, I don't know what Rob is up to. Johnny's fans thought he liked Johnny, but apparently it was all fake to get a story or something I guess. There's a segment of Bethenny's fandom that has been attacking Johnny, calling him names, hurling slurs at him, accusing him of being involved in a cospiracy with Jill Zarin (they've said this publicly) to hold Bethenny down. They have no concept of the fact she's being carried around and is not skating, nor that all the judges have scored her similarly. And all rob is doing is adding fuel to the fire. I'm really disappointed in him. It's like he's using JOhnny to create drama.
