Josh Duhamel was kicked off a flight from New York to Kentucky after refusing to turn off his Blackberry, TMZ reports. A flight attendant reportedly asked him three different times to turn off his phone before takeoff, but he refused.
Duhamel was described as acting "very rude" and was even "taunting the attendant," one passenger said.
The plane was turned around and sent back to the gate, where the actor was escorted off by police. According to his rep, the actor was texting about his flight delay. "He's sorry," Duhamel's rep told PEOPLE.

Who IS he anyway?
While flying from Tampa last year, I received a call from an emergency room to make decisions for my wife who was dying and needed blood. She was incapacitated and the flight was taking off. I had to talk to two people at the hospital to get telephone approval to allow my wife to receive blood and I was being asked to get off the phone by the stewardess. Kind strangers around me defended my actions of not turning off the phone as they heard my conversation and I was on hold for a second confirmation. My wife is still alive thank goodness!

I'm happy to hear that your wife is all right... but that story has nothing to do with Duhamel. The only similarity is the cell phone. You had a medical emergency - that your flight-mates heard... and noted to the attendant.

There are stupid rules, like this one, which have no real rhyme or reason and which only the stupid say "all rules are rules and therefore should obeyed.
