Loyal Friend Chelsea Handler Calls Angelina Jolie a 'Homewrecker'

After spending Thanksgiving in Mexico with BFF Jennifer Aniston, tart-tongued funnywoman Chelsea Handler didn't hide her feelings towards Angelina Jolie at her show in Newark, New Jersey Friday night, calling Angie a home-wrecking "b***h" who doesn't have any female friends because she's a [c-word].

"Chelsea hates Angelina and doesn't for one second buy that she is this good person rescuing children in need around the World," a friend of the comedienne tells me. "Everyone in Hollywood is scared to say what they really think about Angelina except Chelsea."

My insider says Chelsea doesn't give a hoot what the repercussions are for taking on Hollywood royalty. "She thinks Angie stole another woman's husband and should be called out on it."

At Chelsea's show in her native Jersey, she got off course while yelling at a disruptive audience member. Before you know it, she was laying into Jolie and mocking her history of adopting children from developing countries.

"She's a homewrecker, she is," Chelsea started on Angie. "She can rescue as many babies from as many countries as she wants to. I don't f-----g believe you. She gives interviews, 'I don't have a lot of female friends.' Cause you're a" and then it continues with words we won't hint at here.

Chelsea has become very close with Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and even accepted her generous invite to spend the holidays with her and a few friends in Mexico, a trip that was paid for and arranged by Jen.

To be fair, Chelsea has been making similarly biting observations on Angie for months, but now that she's a confirmed good friend of the former Mrs. Pitt, her jibs and jabs have taken on new potency.

In the latest issue of Glamour, Chelsea praises her bud as one of the only women who can make her laugh.

"She sends me really funny e-mails," she says of Jen in the January issue. "She's hilarious and irreverent. And she makes me really laugh."

Chelsea is also encouraging Jen to get out more. Meet new guys and finally move on after Brad.

"Chelsea is the best thing to happen to Jen," an insider tells me. "Chelsea isn't afraid to tell Jen the truth even if it is painful. In the past Jen has made it clear that she doesn't want her friends talking about what went down between her, Brad and Angie. But Chelsea doesn't care. She thinks Angelina has used her kids to manipulate her image and gotten away with destroying a beautiful marriage. She's going to shout it from the rooftops whether Jen likes it or not."

Note: Chelsea's new surprise BFF is CBS' Kate Couric, whom she raves about in the Glamour article. They were seen together last week at the Carlye checking out legendary singer Steve Tyrell. So be warned: If you are thinking if saying anything mean about Katie, Chelsea will come and get you!

Ummmm, move on. You weren't married to the man and this is such OLD NEWS!!! I guess everyone's still trying to cash in on this lame story. Whatever...I thought Chelsea was funny, but now she's just reaching.

@ Uh Oh: What is Amy's typo? I'm curious. You don't mean her usage of "are" instead of "is" do you ? Because she used it correctly.

@ Charley: Proofread is one word.

I think you're looking for a fault in Amy's writing to pump up your own deflated egos. Even if she did make errors, she is not the professional here. Neither, it also appears, is Rob Shuter or either of you.

Like Angelina Jolie gives a crap what this rag thinks of her. Chelsea Handler is not good enough to shine Angie's shoes.

Chelsea is soooo right! Jolie does use the kids and endless adoptions to try to fix how the general public views her. Jolie does not have any female friends because she has no empathy or regard for other women. She did the same thing to Laura Dern that she did to Jennifer Aniston. I do not understand any women on here defending Jolie actions. She could not care less about the feelings of other women.

I guess we know who drank all the kool aid in Mexico!!! Her opinion might be worth something if she had actually ever met or spoken to Jolie. At some point Aniston & Pitt have to be the ones who take the responsibility for the end of their marriage. You can't steal anybody, you can offer up a plan b, but if the marriage is sound it survives. I thought Aniston pining over pitt was a media invention, but this proves it's not. I suggest therapy to help her move on.

The whole thing is Jen was too career oriented and Brad was giving interviews about wanting to have a family with lots of kids and Jen wasn't ready to do it; she wanted more "me as a celebrity" time; and lo, he met a woman who was work and family and charity and shunning the celebrity life - what a *WIN* for him; plus she R*O*C*K*S in bed and they make beautiful babies on their own; and he divorced Jen before starting anything with Angie (oh yes he did, Jen, you know it to be so). And Jen has had bad luck ever after and played the poor me sympathy card for decades now, and if she can only get Chelsea Handler in her corner to do girlfriend rage with her at this late date it tells you she is on sad cookie who has some serious letting-go issues that NEED to be addressed, especially if you're sending in the second wave to do battle with the current wife *F*O*R* you. Pathetic. And I always thought Handler picked her battles with a little more savoir-faire. Turns out it's just girl-bar cat-fight. Meow meow. Or is it mew-mew? So sad. So Sad. And for Jen to endorse it - the height of hubris. No credibility anymore.

This is soooo 5 years ago... I feel for Jen, however, after 5 years... Get Over It! I remember Brad on Oprah before he left Jen. When asked hows your love life... He gave a cryptic answer that basically foretold what was about to happen... People fall out of love... He wanted kids, She didn't... she wanted to make movies.

This whole thing is a really old and an unattractive reflection on Jen and where she is and isn't emotionally... She got what she wanted, she makes movies (however mediocre)... Brad got the family he wanted... Bashing Angelina is immature... It takes two to tango and Brad made the choice... Chelsea? What? Is she now Jen's handler? LMAO.

There's something desperately wrong with a woman who has to pay for her friends to go off on a Mexican vacation when she should be spending the holidays with her FAMILY. Jen has living parents, other family members but she never spends time with any of them over the holidays. Instead she's off getting drunk with losers like Handler and the other rejects she hangs out with. Sad. Really sad. Brad didn't just get a divorce...he escaped. And the rest since can't get away fast enough. What a pathetic old age she is facing, one that leaves her very, very alone.
