Jim Carrey's Daughter Getting a Divorce

Jim Carrey's daughter, Jane, is divorcing her husband of one year, Alex Santana, In Touch is exclusively reporting. Santana, the lead singer of Blood Money, and Jane are the parents of a son, Jackson Riley, who was born in March.

"The couple will remain friends, as well as devoted parents to their 9-month-old son, Jackson Riley," a spokesperson for Jane's A-list father said.

Jane, the lead singer of the Jane Carrey Band, and Jackson are currently in New York City visiting actor Jim where he is filming the upcoming 'Mr. Popper's Penguins.'

Jane, 23, and Santana tied the knot last November. "My Jane is a married women. Days ago her and my new son in law Alex got hitched," Jim wrote on Twitter at the time. "The day was simply perfect ... lots of love there."

The funnyman also told PEOPLE at the time, "It was a beautiful day. Simple and sweet. I wish them everything that love has given us."

Jane is Carrey's daughter with first wife Melissa Womer.

pobrecito kid. I'm sure his life will be hell. So many irresponsible adults "taking care" of him. Perhaps celebrities should be sterilized so they don't repeat the same mistakes that made them total f**k ups in the first place. The kid is the true victim here.

themeeker: Jim Carrey is not the father of the autisic child and never married Jenny M. The relationship just didn't work out and as far as I know, the kid still has his biological father.

Jim's daughter's child also is not being left "without" a father. He will still be there for the boy. No big deal really. Of course it's always nice if families can stay together, but it's usually best for the children if the parents split when they're no longer happy as a couple.
