Khloe Kardashian Compares Airline Security Procedures to Public Rape

The entire Kardashian clan is known for their over the top antics, but Khloe Kardashian may have taken her outspoken nature one step too far.

The youngest Kardashian sister appeared on last night's episode of 'Lopez Tonight,' on which she told host George Lopez of the TSA's pat downs, "They basically are just raping you in public."

Khloe went on to describe taking offense at the forceful manner of one TSA agent prior to a flight. "[T]he people are so aggressive. It's like, 'Chill out, you didn't find anything on me yet, calm down... They say, 'OK, I'm going to be patting you down and I'm going to be touching the crease of your ass."

RadarOnline reports that Lopez's audience fell silent after Kardashian's off-color joke, although the host swooped in to lighten the mood. "She might not have been TSA," Lopez cracked. "She might have been a lady from the bar."

Victims' advocates have since spoken out against Kardashian's tactless comments. Jazmine Robles of the Santa Monica Rape Crisis Center called the joke "ill-informed," a sentiment echoed by high-profile attorney Gloria Allred.

Allred told Radar, "I believe that the word should not be used loosely to describe security measures at airports or at any other place. I think that many victims of sexual assault who have been the true victims of men who committed that violent crime against them and who have been forced to suffer the physical and emotional harm that results from that crime would be insulted that the term would be used in the way that Ms. Kardashian used it."

Kardashian's lack of sensitivity regarding the delicate subject comes as a surprise to some fans, considering her recent, frank discussion of feeling "disgusted" after losing her virginity at age 14.

Just last week, Kardashian told fans on 'The View,' "Don't let anyone pressure you [into sex], it's not worth it and how I felt afterward."

This big old horse of a girl should just be grateful someone wants to touch her. Why would she care anyway, it isn't like she or her sisters are exactly loaded with modesty or morals.

Then don't travel by air. I've had it with these clowns using a security measure as a means to get publicity, such as the woman in a wheelchair that work back bra and panties under a trench coat. These people are far from affronted.

@ Mike: Very eloquent, but what about the evolution of VIPER checkpoints, the supreme court’s constitutionally recognized right to travel? How about the logistics of taking a train to Europe to see family during vacation, or across country for work?
