'Gossip Girl' Blake Lively Will Become the New Face of Chanel in 2011

Seems Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld is getting some serious face time with muse Blake Lively.

The 'Gossip Girl' star has recently been in Paris filming a new ad campaign for the fashion house, E! News reports. Lively will reportedly promote the brand's handbags in a campaign that will be released in early 2011.

We can't wait to see how the girl who just landed herself on Vogue's Best Dressed List embodies the Chanel woman. Très bien, we assume!

In July, the up-and-coming fashion icon was seen brushing shoulders in the front row at the Chanel Haute Couture show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. And come September, she attracted a media swarm when she went out and about with Herr Lagerfeld after the reopening of Chanel's SoHo outpost in New York City.

Chanel commercials are not the only screen time Lively can look forward to. She's also been at work on new 'Gossip Girl' episodes and will be hitting the big screen next summer in 'Green Lantern,' opposite Ryan Reynolds. Read More about Lively and her relationship with Lagerfeld on StyleList
