Is Bristol Palin a Bigger Star Than Her Mom Now?

Bristol Palin dominated the news this week, with her military-precision responses to slights by Margaret Cho (Sarah made her do 'Dancing With the Stars'), Kathy Griffin (Bristol's chubby) and Keith Olberman (she's a "Worst Person"). All this attention has many wondering, is the daughter a bigger celebrity than her famous mom?

"Without any doubt Bristol is now the biggest star in the Palin household," an A-list Hollywood publicist tells me. "At the moment I would argue she's one of the biggest stars out there."

Easy, now. It's true that Bristol is finally finding her voice (with the help of a speechwriter, as Billy Bush opined this week on 'Access Hollywood') and this added attention along with her success on 'Dancing' has led to a whole host of offers and opportunities for the young mom. Books, reality shows, product endorsements ... you name it, she's been offered it.

One weekly celeb magazine editor tells me Bristol is "the new Kim Kardashian" on the scene.

"She's beautiful and real and not another one of those skinny Hollywood types. Add that she was a teen mom, which is very in right now with the MTV show and all, and you couldn't have written a better or more dramatic personal story. Sarah is yesterday's news. Bristol is today."

Only in America, what a message this sends to young girls, get pregnant and don't worry if the kid has a father because if you don't get on TV theres always welfare or you can suck off your family. It's about time the Bristol baby factory is closed up and she is sent back to Alaska with her whiny old mother.

I agree with "nan" , "what has Bristol done to deserve so much hatred??". How mean and ugly can " people be????
I also think Jennifer Grey is getting undeserved negative flack as being a "professional dancer" Excuse me....Jennifer has been injured, and NOT dancing since shortly after DIRTY DANCING was released. "Profession Dancer"?....I don't think so. Talented , yes!......it runs in the family, i.e. Joel Grey.

Dont really think people "hate" the Palens. Just tired of them always in our faces. No talent Bristol, and her silly mom, is very boring. Wish she were as great as she thinks she is. Hope next year, they will just go away.Oh,and lets not forget Willow. Bet she will be another "wantabe"..lol!!!

I dont see how some people have hate in their hearts in the first place. I do know and fully understand why people dont like Sara, that I get.
But to hate her daughter, for having a child while not married?
Like no one elses daughter ever had done that before.
Everyone has at least one in their own family, thats done the same thing. Whether it was a cousin or aunt, or even a sister.
The only thing that Bristol is guilty of, is having sara for a mother.
Its one thing to be able to hate, but to hate a girl for being born to her mother, is ridiculous at best.
