Kardashian Fashion Empire in Crisis

After finding huge success in reality TV, the Kardashian sisters appear to be struggling in the fashion side of their business. Their business took two big hits on Thursday--and it's not clear how the sisters plan to recover.

First, UsMagazine.com reports that the Kim, Khloe and Kourtney's collaboration with clothing line Bebe is coming to an end.

"We are very pleased with the performance of the 'Kardashians for bebe' apparel collection and have immensely enjoyed our design collaboration with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney. They are terrific brand ambassadors and resonate really well with our clients," an official statement from Bebe said.

"Our original ready to wear agreement with the Kardashians began last February and will conclude with the upcoming Resort Delivery," it continued.

The statement came just says after Bebe president, Emilia Fabricant, gave an interview to WWD where she admitted to rethinking the partnership. "The sisters do still have relevance. We need to move with fashion and we want to be first in the fashion world with everybody else and not fall behind. We are definitely assessing the situation," Fabricant said.

In addition to the Bebe situation, a column in Thursday's New York Times gave a scathing review of the Kardashian sister's NYC boutique, Dash.

"Dash is a fashion desert, just oodles of drippy cowl necks and embellished cap sleeves and synthetic fibers," the story reported. "Clothes are essentially split into two categories of fit: vacuum-sealed and hot-air balloon."

"As in most theme parks, there wasn't anything worth carrying away but memories." Times writer Jon Caramanica concluded.

The sisters have yet to comment on the Bebe partnership or the Times article.

The bust-out star of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is Scott !! He's polite but still his own man, has a distinct personality, and is oodles of fun when he's toasted. He dipped into the little one and has a kid, but he seems to be a good dad too. The witchy-mother and the monster, Khloe, hate Scott and that makes it all the better. The eunuch father is not too wild about Scott, either, but he's an ineffectual blob in the background and we couldn't care if Bruce burst into flames. Scott, keep up the good work and keep boinkin' the little one.

These girls have no taste, no talent and no shame. All acquired from that Mother of their's. They've made millions and I wish they would just take the money and run, that way we would never have to see them again. They're just ridiculous and just think that freak Mother is raising another generation for us to have to put up with. Notice the son doesn't get much publicity and Ma Jenner doesn't seem to be pushing him or should I say pimping him like she does those girls. To bad people show any interest in them at all.

I could not be happier hearing about the demise of this family -- and all that they apparently stand for. They are among the shallowest people ever to be paraded in front of TV cameras. All that money and only one has a college degree. One wonders would thateven have happened if her father hadn't still been alive. As "public spokeswomen," they all speak like uneducated nitwits;as "role models," they have no sense of integrity, morality or societal concern -- unless it presents an pportunity to take off their clothes; and as "modern women," none is able to make an independent decision without tapping into a whiney discourse around some table. I look forward to hearing about their next career move: a three-bunker at celebrity rehab or a line dance on Dancing with the (former) Stars.
