Reese Witherspoon: I Probably Need to See a Therapist!
Reese Witherspoon is featured on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly magazine--and in the accompanying interview the actress talks about her divorce from
Ryan Phillippe, Googling herself, and why she might need a therapist.
"It definitely sometimes feels like a suit that I wish I could zip off," the Academy Award-winning actress tells the magazine (via
JustJared.com) about her divorce. "But I don't feel bad about any of the things I've gone through, whether it's divorce or breakups or anything like that, because that's all part of the life journey, and I have those experiences just like anyone else."

On not dwelling on things:
"My favorite quote is from Martha Stewart: 'I have a short memory for painful things.' And I do. I have one of those incredible memories where I just erase painful things. Maybe that's really unhealthy, and I probably need to see a therapist. But I don't dwell. You just keep going forward. Also, I have kids. What are you going to do? Are you going to teach them to be one of those people who keep looking in the rearview mirror, or are you going to teach them to be one of those people who go, 'Tomorrow's another day'?"
On Googling herself:
"Oh, only in very, very dark moments--moments of pure self-loathing--do I type my name into Google. [Laughs] And I know what I'm in for. You never read anything positive-you always go straight to where you know they're going to say something nasty about you."
On all the wedding rumors:
"My mom always texts me, like, 'Are you getting married?' I'm like, 'Mom, come on! You would know if I was getting married.'"

Flecity Hoffman should have had the Oscar the year Reese won.

Reese is only "opening up" to help plug her crappy movie. Give it up. No one is interested. You are yesterday's news along side the idiot Kate Gooslin and Linzey Loman.
Reese Witherspoon...who cares? She's a slightly above average acting talent...why all the hub-bub?

Why criticize Reese Witherspoon of all people?? She seems about the most grounded and normal of all the female celebs her age. Sorry her marriage didn't work out but neither do 50% of them.
Oh, shes spot on, glad youve seen the light! What the hell were you thinking breaking up with Ryan. Your a moron! Then you play the 'beard' with Gylenhall? what an example for your childredn. You need help girl
Your lucky, very lucky you won the oscar

Ryan cheated on her you stupid twit!! Maybe you would stay with a cheater, but most women don't.
I try to look or think of a positive woman in Hollywood but I can't think of anything but baby dumpsters.

People who have unresolved issues(usually, from childhood) are either running from themselves or running (maybe, crawling) back to themselves. Most people are running from themselves. Relationships are the perfect distraction if you're looking for the easy way out. That's what she sounds like, to me.

I admire Reese and what she stands for. She seems very grounded and has been a strong support for her children after the divorce. She hasn't rushed into any relationship and I think that's smart. It looks like she has found love again. I think she is a good actress, funny and just cute. She doesn't go around with gaudy makeup, clothes but always seem tastefully dressed. She's not in and out of rehab. I loved her in the Legally Blonde movies. I watch them with my boys, from ages 10-16 anytime they are on tv we get glued and have to laugh and point out our favorite part. Her role as an Avon Spokesperson and support of empowerment of women against domestic violence. I think she rocks!

I think she's a cutie and pretty level for a former child star. She was nearly as young as Lohan when she started. Must be the parents she has that kept her out the tabloids. Even when her husband cheated, he said "no" but had a kid with the gal, she took the high road. I don't think two boyfriends in 5 years is whoring around. Look at Kate Hudson, many men and plastic surgeries at her young age.(Nose and boobs) She was adorable BEFORE, why mess with adorable?

Another very spoiled Hollywood brat. A very poor example of responsibility for anything. Maybe she will try to outdo Liz Taylor.

Her co-starring with John Cash in "I Walk The Line" had to have a bad influence on her mind.
What a bunch of haters. I think she's adorable.

If she were your daughter or granddaughter, would you feel the same?
keep fit.

Yeah, she's grounded. She only tossed her marriage aside like yesterday's dirty panties like the rest of Hollywood does. But she's grounded. Uh huh.

Excuse you, but her husband cheated on her you Moron! So no, she didn't toss her marriage aside. Get your facts straight before you speak!
