Billy Ray Cyrus caught wind of Miley Cyrus' bong scandal and turned to his Twitter fans for emotional support."Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now," he wrote on Twitter.
A video obtained by TMZ shows the 'Hannah Montana' star taking hits from a bong that was reportedly filled with a natural herb called salvia, which when smoked has psychedelic qualities. Possession of salvia is currently legal in California. The video was reportedly taken five days after Miley turned 18.

Sorry Billy Ray, if you don't raise your child from day one to respect themselves and others, as well as, think before they act, then it is hard to pull in the reigns when they are 18. Especially with someone who thinks she is all that. It is sad to see Miley go down this path. It would be nice if she stopped and thought about all the little girls that looked up to her, instead of her own self-gratification and humiliation. I know this is legal in California, but that doesn't make it right.

I believe this video has hurt and upset papa cyrus.
I am not trying to make the use of illegal substances a minor issue...but I just wonder how many mummie & daddies who are posting all their outrage did not drink or take bong hits before they were of age...or in their life to date...I think more people need to "get real" with their own situation, maybe it could put an end to hypocrisy. Just a thought.

I never did except in an airplane. I don't believe the typical teenager does this sort of stupidity. No one can decide to be a role model. You can just decide to be a good one or a bad one. Looks like Miley made her choice.
Hello Parents Mom and Dad the child you are living off of is crying out for help. All she wanted for her 18th Birthday was her family. You would think these parents could have put there differences aside for one day for this child. I guess they will wait until another Lindsey Lohan incident occurs to there daughter. I just don't get it. JMO

Billy Ray thru his daughter into the spotlight too soon. What does he expect? She is in her teens and wants to live like a 30-30 year old. Give a child too much too soon and most of them will have problems down the road. I hope she slows down and gets her act together or she'll be in trouble with drugs if she doesn't learn from this experience.
