'Dirty Dancing' actress and 'Dancing With the Stars' winner Jennifer Grey had back surgery for a ruptured disc last week. She suffered the injury on the first night of the two-episode 'Dancing' finale, almost forcing her to withdraw from competition."I'm still recovering at home. I have to rest a bit more, but I feel great -- completely pain free," Grey, 50, tells PEOPLE.
The operation involved California doctor Dr. Robert S. Bray Jr. removing "a huge fragment" from Grey's back. Bray says the actress "can go back to her family, pilates, dancing -- just about anything she wants to do."

I wish he gave her back her old nose while he was at it. It was a great nose.

I agree. It was good enough for Patrick Swayze.
It matters not how Jennifer looks that is her own personal business. However she still presents herself well and like a lady. And this had to have been very stressful and exhausting for her. I for one thank her for letting us old folk have a glimpse of our youth again in such style and eligence. Thank you Jennifer may you have a healthy and happy holiday season. From a fan of many years. God bless you and your family.
You look great girl, loved you on dancing with the stars, and would love to see you on a lifetime movie.

Wishing Jennifer a speedy and super recovery. I applaud her for finishing DWTS. What a real trooper she is and absolutely deserved that trophy.

Very well said. Not bad for a 50 year old woman with back problems. She deserved to win.
I have always been a fan of Jennifer and Patricks! Great actors! Jennifer was not a professional dancer but she has proven to be a hard worker, and extremely talented! I was concerned about her during Dancing with the Stars. I could see that at times she was in pain. It was in her eyes. She pulled it off and she and her love ones should be very proud! She is a trouper!
She had her nose done twice. It was not good the first time around. The second time really changed her looks.
Who cares. Maybe she will quit being a cry baby. Instead of sympathy from me, all I could see was what a phony. No one jumps around like that if they really have all of the problems she claimed unless they were on drugs. They rigged the show by having a professional like her on it.

You're right, Bob. Obviously a fake surgery or at the very least she had back surgery just so everyone would feel sorry for her. What the heck....it's only back surgery!!!!!!
Gee, I suppose the same sentiment should hold true then for all those overpaid athletes!!!
Bob, you sound like the cry baby. Before you say she is a professional dancer check your facts. Just because she did a dancing movie over 20 yrs ago does not make her professional.
Apparently you have never had back problems. I have degenerative Disk Disease which cannot be fixed surgically. About every six weeks I am prescribed a regimen of steroids. It is as though there is nothing wrong with me. I hope none of you critical people on here have to experience extreme pain.
Bob, u are full of ****!!
Two words for you - "Screw You".
SHAME ON YOU For SAYING THINGS LIKE THAT TO A NICE PERSON LIKE THAT! WE LOVE HERE!
I agree with you 100% Bob. What a wimp she is suffering a ruptured disc in her back while performing on the show, undergoing neck surgery prior to the show and then having the nerve to ask for sympathy. Oh wait, I don't remember her asking me for sympathy. I don't remember her asking me or the public for anything. Did you get a personal phone call asking you for sympathy? Why doesn't everyone lay off her and leave her alone. She didn't ask anyone for anything. She went on the show, after being asked by the producers, she did one fantastic job in spite of her injuries and she won the well deserved trophy and title.
She really needed to risk further injury to win that stupid trophy...can we say pathetic, needy and desperate? And she still can't act her way out of a paper bag...Even Daddy couldn't help her establish a career.....yes she is beautiful, in shape and all that...so she has nothing else to do except maybe tell the chef what she want's for brunch....I am so not watching DWTS after this year....Can we say ringers...It is not what the show's original premise....just my opinion...I just don't care that much....
