Kelly Rutherford Gives Blake Lively and Ryan Gosling the Green Light

Kelly Rutherford may not be Blake Lively's mom in real life, but the actress, who plays van der Woodsen matriarch Lily on 'Gossip Girl' has some materal words of encouragement for the young star.

Rutherford approves of her on-screen daughter's reported romantic relationship with Ryan Gosling, telling PEOPLE, "She's so gorgeous. He's a lucky man if they are!"

While neither Lively nor Gosling has directly addressed the dating rumors, Gosling did sing the actress' praises at a recent event, saying, "She's an incredible actress; she's a good friend."

Rutherford, whose time off-screen is spent playing mommy to children Helena and Hermes, dished that "It'd be great [if they were dating]. Blake's an amazing person," but says she's in no rush to jump back into the dating game herself.

"It's not really a priority," she told the magazine. "I have so much love in my life right now with my kids... It's so important, this time in their life."
