Katy Perry and Russell Brand stepped out to support the David Lynch Foundation's Change Begins Within Benefit on Monday at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Perry looked striking in a gorgeous Issa dress. Meanwhile, Brand spoke to reporters about the importance of meditation. The Foundation's Operation Warrior Wellness aims to teach 10,000 veterans and their families how to meditate to prevent and treat post-traumatic stress disorder.

When asked if he and Perry meditate together, Brand answered, "I think mediation is good for everybody."

The best meditation is one that is done every day. Its the cheapest form of therapy in the world. I've found the best book "Learn to Meditate in TWO Minutes - for the Lazy, Crazy and Time Deficient" cause it teaches you how to meditate even if you think you don't have time.
