Bill and Giuliana Rancic Too Busy to Replace Oprah

My friends Bill and Giuliana Rancic are laughing off reports this week that they are plotting a move to Chicago to succeed the retiring Oprah Winfrey with their own Windy City-based talk show. According to Page Six sources, the show is in development.

"Bottom line, there is only one Oprah! Anyone who would try to emulate or replace the Queen of Daytime would be a fool," Giuliana tells me. "Bill and I have no plans to do a talk show in the near future. It is certainly a goal of ours one day, but we are just too busy at the moment."

Busy indeed. Between her daily gig anchoring 'E! News,' co-hosting 'Fashion Police' and, of course, their reality show 'Giuliana & Bill,' Giuliana says her dance card is full. Then there's busy Bill, who aside from his hectic schedule on the public speaking circuit, is launching 'Airplane Repo' on Discover.

"A talk show is not in the works at this time," she tells me.

A rep for Bill told Page Six that producers approached them to do a talk show but that there are "no plans" at this time.

And as if that wasn't enough, the couple are now focusing their efforts on just being together as much as possible, which will bring them to NYC to host the NIVEA Kiss event on New Year's Eve.

"We will be reuniting two long distance couples to kiss on the platform at midnight," Giuliana tells me. You can nominate yourself or friends for the NIVEA Kiss the One You Love contest on NIVEA's Facebook page."

"We need to start practicing our kiss since it's going to be seen by millions," Giuliana laughed. "Bill told me not to make it too wet and sexy and to keep it clean. I agreed, but I may have to surprise him at midnight and pull him in for a passionate embrace and just go for it."

their dreams of having a baby will happen...
but Guiliana dear...honey...girl...youve got to EAT!!
Youre too thin...you are subjecting yourself to all that IVF
hormone therapy....
put on some weight hon..and im sure it will help you not only to conceive but also to help hold the pregnancy.
the body needs some weight..
dont worry...youve got plenty to go before you are even average weight...and if you gain..youll still be pretty!

how is it that there are soooooo many boring people who have shows these days? no talent, no purpose, yet netoworks pay tons of money to them so a minimum amount of fools can watch them. i don't get it.

This girl is such a poser, she thinks shes relevent, shes far from it. put on some weight you lollipop!

i don't believe they would be offered a talk show. Bill was on a talk show on Channel 4 which lasted about 5 minutes. it was called something Village, i can't remember, but in the end it should have been called the Village Idiots because the show was terrible and he was terrible as one of the hosts.

I know it's wrong to pick on people for their looks, but I have a hard time even watching Guiliana. Something looks wrong with her face. It is so out of proportion and off for someone in the TV industry. I can't believe she ever got hired to do on camera work.

Oh yeah- I saw that for a minute once or twice. It was horrible!

I like Bill & Giuliana there such a cute couple. As both said no one can replace Oprah I would watch there talk show if they ever have one.

I am waiting for the day for Bill to divorce her because she does not deserve him. She has no sympathy for others and only cares about materialistic things. Her core is empty and she has no purpose in this world. Bill, baby, I am praying for you.

Also, Giuliana cannot keep a baby alive for as long as she is selfish and thoughtless. The child is not stupid and will never stay alive. However, she can get pregnant when she honestly gets inside herself and clears herself of materialistic emotions. I hope that she can pick up on Bill's energy, on the other hand who is very spiritual and change her life around. Obviously, her money is not good enough to make a baby soul stay. Not yet but it's possible. Good luck, Giuliana!
